El Toro in Portsmouth

While delicious, this place felt like simple delicious home food eaten out in a restaurant. I definitely polished off the nachos, though I felt the paella was missing the crunchy bottom and could use some more flavour.

Yummiest chicken strips. Their paella was really good too but I missed the burnt bottom of the paella. Nachos were really good too

Came as a party of 6 on 19/06. The staff are among some of the friendliest, attentive and polite I've experienced, they really make the difference and are a credit to the business. The food was good and everything came out at good times. Well done, El Toro. Would return.

Sorry to have to say, I was really looking forward to our meal to celebrate my wife's Birthday. Lots of great reviews on here prior to our visit. Food was very average and the steak was overcooked which was the very reason we chose the restaurant, we ordered different cuts which looked identical. Very underwhelming and expensive...

Went in on Sunday and wow food was amazing!! All of us had steaks which where cooked to perfection loads of extras ... price was great ...liked it so much we are going back again on Tuesday!

Went here for my birthday meal accommodated a table of 12 amazingly you won't find friendlier or politer staff anywhere nothing was to much aloud me to drink my bottle of fizz on the premises when normally would be aloud, staff brought my birthday cake out and even sang with everyone for me no food complaints all came out together all cooked how we asked for it quality of food exceptional well done guys we will all be back again price was very reasonable aswel 👏👏

Omg the food here was absolutely fantastic. The staff were really friendly and helpful. Had a fantastic meal and the prices were reasonable too. Would definitely eat here again.
