The breakfast is lush, very nicely cooked with good choices. Been here 4 times because I'm working nearby. Don't expect fast service if you're in a hurry. I phoned my order 15 minutes before I arrived and still had to wait another 10 minutes despite being assured it would be ready. I know there are unforeseen things to consider so it's forgivable. This time when I just arrived the waitress cleared a whole table of around 50 items (very slowly I might add), before taking my order, to me this is not considerate. If it wasn't for this I would probably give 4 stars but 3 is my overall opinion for now.

This was my second visit, several years apart. A quick brunch stop before getting the IOW ferry. Good service, nice food well cooked.

Not dog friendly! We read the reviews and weree very excited to have brunch here on my partner 50th birthday. We went in to be firmly told dogs were not welcome and we would have to sit outside on a table for two people (we were three) facing the road. Clearly not a place for dog and good food lovers after all.

Found this place before we went into the Historic Shipyards Museum (just a three or four minutes walk away from the main entrance). We were looking for somewhere to have breakfast before going into the museum. A full English (Builders Breakfast!) with limitless tea or filter coffee was a great set up for the day (advertised at £7.50, we only had to pay £5.00) so even better than we thought. The food was hot and although not as big as the title suggests, it was enough for us.

Ordered from deliveroo, was cold when we got it, we got damp white toast instead of brown toast, my order was meant to have potatoes with it and they weren't included. Bacon was incredibly fatty and egg overcooked. Paid over £16 and I am highly disappointed. Would give this 0 stars if i could

Great place, very small tho so I don't think there would be any tables available at lunch. Wait for 3 plates were longer than expected because there's only one chef. One thing I hated was the sticky tables from the varnish on them.

A small restaurant under the railway arches. Friendly staff. I had the chik burger, chicken thighs, smokey bacon, cheese, maple mayo and lettuce, etc. It was divine.

Breathtakingly good food, enormous portions, and down to earth prices 🍔🍗🍟 Both the server and chef went out of their way to make the meal and food as perfect as it could be, and perfect it was! I wasn't sure on the maple mayo that came with my chicken burger on the menu, so the chef allowed me to try some out the pot, before I then settled instead on cheese sauce for my burger and the fries - a choice that was a clear winner! 🧀 Nothing was too much trouble during the meal either, with the food and drinks arriving quickly after ordering too! As said, the portions were huge, so if you're hungry this is the place to go in Portsmouth 😅 The bill was more than reasonable, and we were so happy with our meal that we're even thinking of returning one morning just for the breakfast menu! Amazing stuff, great asset to the local area 🌟👌🏻💯
