Gandhi in Portsmouth

Went here for the first time tonight and was a great experience. Warm and friendly atmosphere with very friendly and efficient staff. Food came out quickly, looked and tasted great, would highly recommend.

The family and myself 8 of us. It was my birthday. Great food the best curry I've had in along time.

The worst Indian cuisine I have ever had in my life. Poor taste, poor quantity, not fresh.. To me very disappointing. Just put an star for the ambiance and good behaviour of the staff.

Fine restaurant. nicely decorated and friendly staff. unfortunately there are not many vegetarian dishes. The preparation of the food has a western influence which I think is a pitty original Indian cuisine is much tastier

We just ordered on just eats from Gandhi. This was the worst curry we have ever had. Aldi for £2 at least tasted like chicken Korma. Spices! What spices. Tasted like mango and coconut. Not pistachio korma. None in it. Nothing else...peshwari naan didn't taste like it. The lamb was tender but not tasty at all..we have dined in the Gandhi before and was very god but that was long ago. We will never order from you again!

amazing experience! the seekh kebabs were particularly succulent, and paired well with the range of naans I ordered- good customer service too, and the food was quick to arrive. I would definitely recommend this to a friend, and hope to come back soon!

I've eaten here before and the food is great. Just tried to order takeaway online. A very slow tedious process had to register a new account to get to the final checkout page and cash only option.I'm not going to walk all the way to an atm over the road from the restaurant. Just to walk back home and have it delivered. Sort that out and this start rating is an easy 5 star. Tonight another company gets my custom unfortunately.

Ordered a takeaway arrived cold and missing bits. When questioned said they would send replacement, another 1hr later nothing arrived so gave up. That's our experience, other are more positive but hit and miss I guess.

Great for couples. Fair price and good taste! But you need to have patience, it took a long time for waiting your meals.
