Waiter explained they were understaffed so can't really comment on service, it wasn't even that bad really. Burger came out incredibly quickly but the bun was stale and burger luke warm unfortunately. The chips were lovely and crisp but had about a kilogram of salt poured on them. Overall fairly average meal out, the draught beer selection also wasn't great. Beer was warm but the glasses were cold. Won't be back in a hurry

A few nights ago I placed an order through uber eats. The delivery driver came & when he gave me the food I noticed the drinks were wrong straight away. I told him we had ordered two fantas online and that we called the restaurant to change one of the fantas to coke, but instead they brought 2 cokes. He became defensive straight away and told me thats not what we ordered, but I tried to assure him that my partner wouldn't order coke for me because I don't drink it, its just too strong for me. He carried on saying that we are the ones in the wrong and he said that he would do us a favour today only because we were wrong, so I said to him thats not right because we ordered correctly, from that point he just raised his voice so loud even my neighbours came out after to see if everything is okay...he started shouting at me saying FORGET IT THEN, FORGET IT THEN, FORGET IT THEN I WILL LEAVE IT !!!! & I was in utter shock at this point and my partner came running downstairs and he then I told him that he can't speak to me like that and then he charged towards me and put one foot in my door, his face a few centimetres away from mine...he had no mask on and as he attempted to shout at me my partner told him to get out and that he cannot come in to our house and my partner just shut the door..I didn't say much but I definitely was in shock never experienced anything like that in my life with anybody. I reported straight to uber eats even though he works for three cuts burger because he said he was the one that answered the phone to us about the drinks. So I know he's your employee..a few minutes later there was a knock at the door and I went to see even though I was terrified, but there was no way I would let my partner go to the door as we are both female anyway i opened the door a little bit and the same guy was back and he said he was sorry for shouting, he said he shouldn't have done it and that he was having a bad day....and to be fair I accepted the fanta out of principal and I said okay and quickly shut the door as I was worried.. ..I want to take this matter further because I cannot accept for anyone to speak to me like this. People have bad days he has no idea what I was going through so its no excuse, I am now terrified especially that this person knows where we live and what we look like. If you had seen the anger in him it is absolutely terrifying....we have been customers of three cuts for a long time even when it was called jags its just a place we have always loved and especially summer time we've always loved it. Please let me know the right channels of how I can take this further

This place is amazing! Attentive staff, great beer selection and great food. We ordered burgers, wings, croquettes and bacon fries. Definitely too much food but it was all amazing. The wings needed more hot sauce, which was provided when asked. If we were local we’d be here more often, but we’ll define back on our next visit to Portsmouth

Came to this restaurant for some food alongside a Blues night. Our food was so tasty, I especially liked the chicken wings; next time I'd load up on those! All of our burgers were delicious and well put together. We washed it all down with a few beers from the vast collection they have on offer.I believe they hold the Blues music nights on the first Friday of each month, perhaps check with the restaurant and I'd recommend booking a table for this as it was super busy. The staff are friendly and attentive. This is a huge restaurant with lots of seating and even has a decent downstairs area.

The American breakfast was good. Super filling and delicious. The pancakes seems a bit small though. Also the kitchen couldn't switch regular sausages for vegan sausages which wasn't so cool for my friend.Definitely doing Jags again.

Turned up quite late on a Tuesday evening but were warmly welcomed and then treated to a decent glass of wine, a tasty IPA and an impressively tasty burger that shows these guys are also taking matters seriously in the kitchen. Would definitely recommend.
