Leilamezze in Portsmouth

Highly recommend! Having grown up in the Middle East - the food here was a taste of home! Everything was fresh, great quality and tasted amazing. Will definitely order again when back in town. Thank you!

Such a lovely place!Went for an impromptu meal and was about to sit inside, when the waiter suggested we look at the outside area. It was a great suggestion as we ended up sitting outside and having a lovely meal with the kids with lots of hot and cold mezze dishes.Great staff and great food

Stayed in Portsmouth overnight and needed a place close to our hotel to eat. Excellent food, friendly and welcoming staff and a lovely rear garden. Very reasonably priced. Cool vibe and everything that came out of the kitchen was delicious.

Amazing food and great outdoor eating area. It's BYO alcohol with a minimum spend on food which is great if you don't want to pay restaurant prices for beer. Good choice of non-alcoholic drinks and delicious dishes.

OMG!!! Had the most amazing meal at Leilamezze last night. Walked past it by chance as sightseeing in Portsmouth this weekend. Checked out the menu online and there was no debate where we were eating.The staff were friendly, polite and attentive, we ordered a couple of Hot Mezzo’s to share, the taste sensation from the Sujuk complimented the Patata Harra perfectly. We followed it with a Mixed Grill and Lamb Chops. To be honest I’ve never tasted such moist, flavoursome Lamb. I had 5, yes 5 lamb chops. Needless to say I couldn’t eat them all and the Mixed Grill was just as good, the chicken was so tender and everything just oozed with amazing flavours.We were offered Baklava on the house but had to decline, we literally had no room left. We will definitely return if we return to Portsmouth and will recommend to anyone we know visiting.What a find!

Excellent food, lovely atmosphere and the staff were so friendly! I would definitely recommend to a friend. After, food and drinks, the lovely waitress showed my friends and I outside to the beautiful garden, where we were accompanied by lively music, shisha and desserts. I would rate my experience 10/10 and I will definitely be returning :)

Great atmosphere, friendly staff and most importantly good food. Has a good range of choices for meat eaters, vegetarians and vegans. Good size portions and value for money. Bring your own alcohol. Only one slight down , the crispy cauliflower could have been much crispier!

Really like their garlic sauce. So fresh. Can never go wrong eith their shish taouk. Good dining experience. Not much option for halal restaurant around portsmouth. This probably the best.

Nice place and the food looks good. I can't say that the food was actually good because we barely have some. Please don't go for the "give is your budget and we will help you" or you going to end up really hungry. We were more than 13 of us and we gave them a budget (waiter said that was going to be plenty of food) and at the end the gave us few starters mosy of them humus and them 4/5 main between all of us. We thought that more food was coming but we were wrong, the waiter nicely and polite didn't give us a solution because he thought he was right. So just to let you know in this place THE CUSTOMER IS NOT RIGHT.

I had a great experience from start to finish here. The staff were friendly and attentive. I ordered the chicken shish, which was a generous portion and was absolutely delicious. The garlic sauce packs a punch with flavour and perfectly complemented the chicken. I hope to go back soon!
