Mary Rose & Dragon in Portsmouth

When I occasionally on business trip to the city I often pop in and order something to eat as their location is prime for my work. Last time tried some exotic food but unfortunately it's too strong for me. The manager however gave me some complementary replacement which is magnificent.

Food isn't as good as pre-Covid. Heard rumours of this place due to previous bankrupt brewery. The shop is definitely one of the victims.

Used to come very often, changed a lot due to the pandemic. Food is generally good.

The food arrived later than I'd like. But they were busy so I understand. I recieved the wrong order, instead of Singapore fried rice I got noodles. I was too hungry to ask for the correct order to risk another hour wait. The sweet and sour chicken tasted oily. The hot n spicy ribs were not spicy and they were very fatty. Dissatisfied

Very traditional Chinese food and I think it’s very delicious! Staffs there are very nice & friendly ! Recommend that you should eat in, fresh & hot & perfect on a Sunday evening 👍🏻

Very nice Chinese restaurant, close tk the University Library. Inside decoration seemed typical to the type of cuisine, and it was all clean and tidy. Service was very fast and helpful.Prices are very good for the serving sizes, too. I had the Szechuan Chicken and it was great. Would definitely return here to try other things.

Good and tasty dim sum for afternoon lunch. Child friendly.

It was lovely food, fast and friendly service. It was one of the best discoveries which is near to Wightlink ferry.
