Mooboo in Portsmouth

Found a hair in my drink raised it with them via Instagram as there's no other way to contact them but no reply - overly priced too. Bing Bing bubble tea is so much better down commercial road.

I’d give 0 star if I can. I had my worst customer experience today at Mooboo Southsea. Please do CHECK THE PRICE when they charge you. Apparently on the poster, a regular salty taro is £4.09, but I was charged 40p more when no topping added. I paid and waited for my drink, really didn’t care about a 40p difference, just mentioned it to the staff that the poster is quite misleading that there’s a wrong price on it. Then the worst argument started. They said the price is based on the menu, which obviously is different from the poster. But why put a wrong poster on??? I then asked can I order a £4.09 regular salty taro as it is on poster, the staff said no, they don’t have a £4.09 salty taro. I was with my friends and she started making a case to my friends that I was being unreasonably picky and making a fuss without listening to her explanation… then she threw the just made drink I ordered into the bin… yes, she did that.. not sure if I’ll get my refund but never thought a good well reminder from a customer would turn into such a disgusting situation. Im a old customer by the way, loved their bubble tea for the last 3 years, but I assure you I’ll never go back again.

I've been there yesterday and had a very nice tea, however I had to wait 25-30 minutes!! There was only one lady working and I had 3 customers in front of me, so I understand that it was busy. But she never bothered to apologise for the long wait or anything. I will not return.

Came in friday afternoon to get some drinks with my little sister and parents. We waited for the drink and got them fine. I went over to the table to open my drink with the straw and on the second try the whole side of the cup split open and spilled about 75 percent of the drink. We informed the lady at the till of what happened and she just said its definitely my fault as i must have poked it too hard and she wouldnt make me a drink so over 5 quid wasted. I walked out sticky and unhappy. You cant just say its impossible for a cup to be faulty especially when it happened 5 seconds after i got the drink and still in the shop. Please check the other reviews im not the only one it happened to.

I was excited to try the strawberry milk tea and taro milk tea I ordered (both with 50% sugar) I noticed they looked a little powdery and when I tried the drink it was overwhelmingly sweet- I’ve had taro milk tea from multiple other boba chains and it’s always been perfect but this drink was painful to drink! The strawberry one tasted way too sweet too- similar to strawberry flavoured medicine… I couldn’t even take a second sip of either of them and neither could my boyfriend.. even the boba wasn’t salvageable as it tasted so strongly of the drink. I’ll definitely avoid this place in the future :(

Very tasty bubble tea and service is excellent though there are so many options for sweetness/ice/toppings u do get a little confused as to what is best to ask for. There are a lot of options for bubble tea here so plan ahead to prevent waiting!

Use to be my favourite bubble tea place but recently it tastes a lot more watered down and very slow service. Waited just under 40 minutes for one milk tea… I get if they’re busy but would appreciate it they mentioned before ordering it would take so long.

Amazing bubble tea and great range of flavours and toppings.The only downside is that if it is busy you can expect to wait 15-20 minutes to get your order but it's not surprising considering they are the only bubble tea shop in the area.All of the teas are delicious, but be prepared to wait if they are busy

I was ordered and paid for 4 Large size mooboo classic with tapioca, but all gave to me was medium size .When I realized，I called again but nobody answer. And the taste is different from before. This time it doesn't taste sweet at all, like boiled water.

The bubble tea here was absolutely nice! However, the service at the store was slow as the staff was getting an UberEats order even though there was no sign of a driver for pick up and the order items were left on the table while we were waiting for 15 minutes to get ours ready after that. Would make sense to get ours out the way first since there was no one to pick up the first order yet. We were the only ones in the store.
