Pizza Hut in Portsmouth

Absolutely brilliant, my daughter was here for a party on Saturday 30th April. We were met at the door with a warm welcome and seated immediately. Which is great service.There was loads of food ready to eat nice and hot. The place was nice, clean and open such a great seating plan. The children loved their experience too. The staff were great here and all you can eat for £7 is brilliant. I think they should advertise a lot more than they do especially on TV.(I only found out because I was in there.)

We ate here whilst staying in the nearby Premier Inn before a ferry crossing. Arrived around 8:30PM and waited around 5 minutes to get seated whilst staff milled about. We then ordered on the app as instructed and waited just over an hour for our meal.When we arrived we noticed 3 staff members front of house, one chef visible in the kitchen and someone who was maybe a manager in more casual clothes also in the kitchen. One of the servers mentioned it had been a busy day when seating us and the next thing we knew two of the front of house staff were leaving and there only seemed to be one chef in the kitchen.The remaining staff seemed to be trying to deal with both takeaway orders and customers dining in simultaneously and it was obviously too much (no slight against them, the service was good and food was OK, although slightly cold) - the issue was clearly down to staffing.We spotted our pizza was ready earlier than the sides so had to watch it sit under the heat lamps until the sides were ready too, which was about another 5 minutes. When the server brought it over to us she said (unprompted) that they could re-make the pizza if it was cold but we just wanted to eat and leave at this point - what was meant to be a quick bite to eat had turned into somewhat of an ordeal.We ordered desserts too but left after our main, who knows how long they would have taken to arrive. We could have probably complained and gotten money back but were tired and just didn't want to have to deal with it. The server appeared to be trying to avoid people as much as possible as everyone who managed to get her attention seemed to be complaining. We overheard at least 3 other tables as well as takeaway customers complaining about the wait time.

Food very good .service friendly but late . The manager instead deserves an absolute 0. He was having 1 waiter/ 20+ tables with at least 10 tables ocupied . No help on the floor . She was doing waiting cleaning and everything. Management is an absolute zero. When i have approached the manager about the situation he answered back quite rudely that he can not do anything about it.

Close at 22:00 timing says at the entrance door but Refused entry at 21:05 Saturday by staff and manager ALEX saying they fully booked but all seats were vacant at PIZZA HUT NORTH HARBOURPizza Hut Restaurants, Binnacle Way, Cosham, Portsmouth PO6 4FB

Food fine, you know what you're getting with Pizza Hut. For an early Saturday evening meal, with lots of staff working, it was pretty poor for service. Having to go and ask for cutlery is never good. 1 Dessert was never brought out and then had to ask 3 times over a 20 minute period, lots of items off the menu. Manager looked very stressed the whole time. Not sure the online ordering is that helpful to waiting staff as they asked twice to see our online order email to verify what we'd ordered. Pizza Hut is normally fine so not sure whats going on here.

Not been here for a few years. So thought I'd go for brunch with some friends. Loved it. Food served nice and hot as it should be. Staff really helpful and nothing is to much trouble. The service is great.

Took an hour and a half to get our food, both pizzas arrived at different times, one taking 15 mins longer than the other. Waitresses weren't particularly helpful as we had to ask twice with no one coming to check on us. We were offered a refund on the pizza which arrived latest which was appreciated, but considering both took so long it made no sense to refund only one. This seemed to be happening to everyone in at the time, as my partner and I just sat and watched to see who would eventually get their food next. The restaurant itself was half empty so not sure why they struggled to get food out with half their staff stood around. Also one of the waitresses who did apologise seemed so uninterested as she walked away mid apology.

The new app took a while to work but once on easy to use. Felt more like self service than waitress service. Ordered gf vegan nice but needed more topping.

Lovely place for buffet and their cheese stuffed crust pizza is delicious!! And finally they have opened the salad bar! 😍Wonderful staff team working there too! Thanks guys!

Took my son for a birthday meal. Staff were brilliant, very friendly and attentive. Mobile ordering was quick and easy, food was tasty and didn't wait long at all. Very pleasant visit.
