Good food, gets busy quick, advise bookings if wanting peak times or popular days

Lovely service from the waitress tonight. A few issues with the food but overall good. Dessert was the best

We've been going to Prezzo at Port Solent for years but the last two times we went, the prices have hiked up and I had the Chicken Alfredo Tagliatelle yesterday and it was tasteless.Real shame

Me and my girlfriend feel like we were honestly scammed out of our money here. We arrived with a booking slightly late, which the manager was fine about. However, this was THE ONLY good part of our evening here. We sat down to look at drinks and food etc; when the manager then asked about our order. We ordered drinks but needed a minute more to choose our food. We didn’t realise 1 minute was equal to 15 minutes at this restaurant. As we didn’t get served again for a while after. We chose our starter which was Calamari for us both. After waiting pretty much half an hour for a few small bits of calamari, we were surprised to see it was tasteless and bland. The mains were also not fresh at all, and we are surprised we didn’t end up Ill.We asked for the bill twice, 20 mins between each ask. Getting agitated and thinking about just walking out by this point. The staff were nice when they did serve us, however this place really does need to review the way it works, as a what should have been hours trip out ended up almost 3 hours mostly sitting.

Best Italian restaurant in the UK. Every Prezzo I've been in, has better pizza's than pizza express, Zizi's or any other restaurant. Also their starters are so much better!

I am 52 years old and never walked out of a restaurant in my life... Until today! We booked, as a family a table for 5pm so we could eat and be back home so our daughter could bath and be ready for bed at a reasonable hour. After sitting in the restaurant waiting for our starters for an HOUR! My wife asked where it was? Obviously forgotten because, people who can in after us were on their mains, but because we have manners we politely enquired and thought that would be an end to it. Everyone makes mistakes after all, so not a real issue, just an inconvenience. But to rub salt into the wound, our main, well we will never know!! we got fed up waiting after another half hour and decided that it was getting too late, we needed our daughter home and settled soon, so what was supposed to be a nice family evening out ended really badly. Worse still, at 3pm my daughter asked for something to eat but we said she'd have to hang on because we'd be eating soon........ Now it's 6.30pm..... she was obviously rather upset and very hungry!!...... Not how I envisioned a nice evening out with the family. If it were possible to leave no stars then that's what they deserved for tonight's debacle.

Went for our daughters 21st birthday. No draught beers. No chips. Cold restaurant. Dirty toilets. We could not pay by cash and had no other means of paying, Apparently the manager said she told us when we arrived that it was card payment only. She did not say anything as if she had said that we would have gone somewhere else as had no other means to pay. Our daughter had to pay for it on her card as the manager was arguing with us and would not take our cash, how embarrassing! We were a table booking for 7 - the restaurant was nearly empty but she took ages looking for our booking on the computer when we arrived even though I said I could show it on my email, we got seated next to the bar, the bar staff were chucking empty bottles into the the skip which was incredibly loud and we could not hear ourselves speak, strange place to put us as they were nearly empty!. The waitress was lovely and tried hard. VERY POOR - DONT EAT HERE AND WASTE YOUR MONEY - IF I COULD GIVE NO STARS THEN I WOULD but had to give it one star!!!!! DONT GO HERE, THERE ARE LOTS OF LOVELY NICE RESTAURANTS IN PORT SOLENT THAT YOU CAN VISIT, SAVE YOUR MONEY!!!!!!! I never leave reviews but felt I had to as our evening for our daughters 21st birthday was ruined and very disappointing.

Located in the beautiful marina! Location is perfect, parking is ample & free. Food was amazing, staff were great, highly recommended.

Booked a table for 4:30. Arrived and they had written it for 2:30.The hostesses knowledge of drinks was a little poor but she was polite and returned when needed for more drinks/refills.Food ordered and starters were good.Main courses were a little disappointing as the salmon pasta was cold, so it was simply microwaved. No plate change, no sprucing up. Just re heated. My Calabria burger was nicely cooked and well presented, but how can you get fries wrong. They were either re heated or over cooked!By the end of dinner the restaurant was busy as you’d expect for a Saturday night. We were hoping to have left by 7pm.The size of pudding was poor. A £6 slice of cake that an inch and a half width. Profit over anything else. One of the group struggled to get the baby trolley out as the tables were tightly packed in. I had to walk halfway round the restaurant just to get to the loo.Massive positive is the size of the disabled loo/ baby change room. The staff were always polite, but the overall food very average. I don’t think I will return.
