Rancho Steak House in Portsmouth

Booked a table for The Wednesday unlimited Ribs. So so full,well worth the money. Service was good and drinks reasonably priced .

Great food at a good price. A little noisy but it was a Saturday night. Lovely staff. Was not offered the sweet menu.

Dont bother booking table in advance. You will be sat right by the door and everytime someone walks in they will stand right by your side, taking all personal space!! How do I suppose to enjoy my meal like that? Long wait between starters and main with no apology! Meat overcooked and sides undercooked. To top it off massive bill with 10% service charge on top! Joke! Will not be returning!

I took my mum and sister for an early Mother's Day treat. I had starters, main and dessert everything here was perfect and you definitely get what you pay for.My mum really enjoyed her meal and the Sangria house cocktail was giving me summer vibes loved it!The waitress's done a great job I used to be in hospitality in my early 20's and it's not easy but the service was on point. It's just a shame I didn't give the waitress my number because she was hella cute.

Visited the steakhouse with my family, I visited Rancho once before and has underdone steak but I decided to give it another go, taking limited options around that area. I wished I would have gone elsewhere. My steak Ribeye, was cooked correctly, but I have never had so much chunks of fat in ribeye steak. I am aware it's a fatty cut but it was like some bad market quality cut. Although it did look good, it was not tasty! Plus the sauce tasted like a bag sauce with fresh peppercorns added to it, not impressed. Additionally sides ( that you pay extra for) were disgusting. Chips the same ones I buy in Tesco, and the bad cost less than they charge for a few peaces. Beans covered in some tomatoey sauce - I hate tomatoes. Should have been put on the menu. Spinach undercooked and soaked in cream. Mushrooms were ok. Starter was very salty. Not edible. Why did I not return the food ? Whats the point if everything is not right? Especially when you save yourself the whole day for the meal, don't eat much you end up really hungry. Toilets - I was about to be sick when I entered. Surely someone should be responsible to check how clean they are? Clearly not.

Fantastic restaurant. Lovely food, great atmosphere and the staff were friendly and engaging.

Poor. Very tough rib eye steaks which although appeared to be cooked correctly (black and blue, rare, medium) all were pretty inedible and hard to even cut..... calamari starter was chewy. Personally I think this is poor quality products. The ambience was nice and the staff and service fantastic, but sadly the food isn't as premium as they claim.....visit on sat 29th , Jan 3 friends

Good food, possibly a bit rarer than we asked for. The tables were a bit too close together for comfort and felt a bit claustrophobic. Staff were not wearing any masks either. The service was good though. All in all, not 100% sure I'd return

Food is so tasty but unfortunately take 45 minutes to be ready and imagine if you hungry 45 minutes is a lot 😂

Exceptional food, great service and having the option of picking steak sizes makes it different for me...! Had one of the best T bones ever... !
