Lovely day in the sunshine. All the staff are attentive and the service was excellent. We had lunch and it was fantastic, no complaints, all 4 of us left clean plates!, The customer service from all of the staff was first class as well as the food. For anyone who wants a lovely pint, good hospitality, good prices and good food please go here - forget gunwharf . A final plus is the landlady was so accommodating. Our favourite bar staff was Adam, he is a credit to the pub and worth his wait in gold. Well done keep up the hard work. Another bonus is the pub is so spotless and the toilets are so clean,. A lovely atmosphere and good fun 🤩 all the staff seem to enjoy their jobs.

Just popped in for a quick lunch with the family. Great location, the staff more than friendly and helpful. Amazing food, big generous portions. Thank you guys, it was an unexpected but great experience!

Popped in with a mate for a couple of beers and food. Good selection of British food on the menu, so a few great options there. Beer and ale wise a very good selection on offer at good prices. The decor was very nice, and the whole place was run in a very professional manner, clean and tidy throughout, I guess the cellar is excellent too. I ordered the Steak pie, mash and greens, amazing taste, great price and a very generous portion. Shannon deserves a special mention, for being superb and she is the seamstress of the whole place, lovely person. Top pub, recommended whilst in the area.

Went here last night and had a great fish and chips meal and a couple of pints. Good atmosphere and friendly staff. Shannon made us laugh and her service was second to none. Would highly recommend this traditional pub 😁

What a brilliant pub. The food and the service are brilliant, the whole feeling of the pub was a pukka old school English, seafaring/nautical experience.

Went for lunch here after seeing the Mary rose and ended up staying a few hrs. Had a great time! We had the veggie sharing platter which was delicious. Service and atmosphere was brilliant. We had a fantastic time and will definitely come again❤️

Wonderful pub with really lovely and attentive staff. The history in the decor is awesome and well worth a natter over a pint. Staff are friendly and even found a cheeky sausage for the pooch! Will definitely visit again!

Great little pub. Nice surrounding area. Good sized garden. Well stocked. Even has ciders that aren't strongbow on tap! Karaoke on a Friday. You can't really go wrong with this place. Can get quite crowded but that'll be the same with most pubs on a Friday/Saturday night.

Great Naval pub across from the Naval base. Sat outside and enjoyed a pint. Could have chilled out in the ☀️ and watched the world go by, but had to go shopping in Gunwarf just across the road. Worth a visit for the Naval history inside.
