Always great food and lovely people

Have been using this place for the last few years as recommended by friends. Was very pleased with the quality of taste & freshness & myself also recommended on to others. However the last few times of ordering as well as putting the price up of everything which i dont mind if the food was worth it ? The dishes/sides dont taste the same & of poor quality. Think will have to go elsewhere. Disappointed.

Since this takeaway changed hands it has gone right down hill. The chicken dansak I ordered looked and tasted nothing like a dansak and cost 50% more.

Ordered food and paid online,, two and a half hours later and two phone calls later food delivered. Owner apologetic. Food, chicken dhansak, little to no lentils,, very strong pepper heat, masking all flavours, rice OK as was starter, onion bhaji. Keema naan with close to no keema mince.A complete disappointment., worst meal I have had in a while, I was recommended this place. I won't be doing the same

Lovely food which is always pipping hot. Traditional food and delicious Peshwari Naan. Happy to recommend, friendly staff, order always right. I collect as live round the corner so can't comment of delivery.

Another fabulous takeaway from Stamshaw Tandoori. Great portion sizes, amazing tastes & flavours. I love my Saturday nights takeaway. Thank u xx

Excellent curry house!! I’ve literally tried nearly all the curry houses in the surrounding area...an this one wins hands down!! It’s superb! Clean...tasty and comes when they say it will.You can wait up to an hour when busy, but it’s worth it!We wish they had a restaurant you could sit in and eat at.Unfortunately this is just takeaway.But brilliant, completely recommend!

Very good food! One of the best curries in Ptown. Very flavourful, meal deals are great value for money. Can be greasy but personally I like grease. Very, very satisfying curry!

I rang up to order a delivery, i normally use them all the time. Went to order the food and my card was declined. A bill had gone out of the account that i was now aware of. Politely said i would call back in 2 minutes so as not to hold him up while i transferred money out of another account. Called back 2 minutes later to be told by the "manager" that I should have checked in the first place and we were wasting his time. He was being so rude we have decided not to order from them and wont be doing so in the future. Be warned everyone.
