Sunny's Fish & Chips in Portsmouth

Why people accept this I don't know, I had small cod and chips, The fish was so small and very thin, greasy and no flavour. The chips were not good either, half cooked and greasy too. Here is a pic of homemade fish & chips I made my wife.

Absolutely disgusting chips, looks like they were heated up from yesterday. I wish I could add a photo so you could see how awful they are. Really really horrible. !!!!!!!!!!

I live 2 minutes away from this place and I won’t buy anything for them. The problem is that one day it will be good and the next it will be stale and old. I gave them one more try tonight and the fish tasted like it was cooked last week. I went back in to return it and the female owner was rude and virtually threw the money back at me. All I wanted was to talk to her about the inconsistency. I hope they see this review and take note because I would love a local chippy with great food. 👎

Not the best! The chips were burnt as was the sausage in batter I had and it wasn't particularly warm either, I'll be giving this place a miss for a while that's for sure!

Worst chip shop i have ecperienced. Arogant/ histilewomen served us with a burnt fish curry sauce that was tastless. Not supprised there was no queue to be served never again.

This place has the best chips in the area, the owners are lovely and the staff really friendly.
