Had a delicious meal at the Akash for the first time last night, really impressed, such friendly service and gave us some great recommendations to try new dishes! Thank you! Highly recommend!

Food is so great and full of flavour but delivery takes a while and food needs reheating. Akash is the only Indian in Portsmouth I like so it's worth it. But just wish delivery was a bit quicker

Definition: Exquisite. Service was honest and friendly, food was delicious, prices are fair, restaurant is nice. Definitely one of the best places in Portsmouth if you are looking for indian food. Recommended 100%!!

Great food, great quality....just not enough of it, to be honest disappointed in the portion sizes. Also pricey for a Take Away. 2 tikka masalas, 1 biriany and 1 madras, 3 nan breads £48. No complimentary poppadoms and they use plastic tubs and not traditional more disposable foil containers. Overall would use again food not greasy and tasty...but compared to Bengal Spice in Highland Road, not a patch on them.

Our visit was a bit rushed because we were going to the theatre and it was a busy Saturday night. In the circumstances, the food was took longer to arrive than we would have hoped, which is why this is not a 5 star review. Our waiter was very good in the circumstances and the food was excellent. Would love to go again but not on a Saturday with a deadline.

Amazing service. 9 of us ate here for my mums birthday. The staff were great especially “mr Jaffa cake” they entertained the kids and made the whole evening special. Would definitely recommend

Went to this place on my birthday, as it won so many awards, the prices on menu outside seemed fair I was brought out 4 poppadoms and a tray of chutney which I never asked for but I'm used to those free things when I have a meal out, the portion sizes were small, the naan was tiny and well I've had a hotter phaal from a non award winner for half the price, did not expect to pay over £26 for a meal for one and pay for the extras I never asked for.

Not as expected. Was surprised to see that some people who ate in the restaurant were allowed in the kitchen. Should be more careful specially during these pandemic times. The only thing I found good was the waiter Rafiq had exceptional customer skills. Charged for chutney which should be complimentary with starters atleast.
