The Auckland Arms in Portsmouth

This wonderful place was a regular haunt for me forty odd years ago. I decided to revisit on the occasion of my brother's birthday. All four bros together in a pub that I had history in. I loved the "vibe" of the place. I will definitely be back sooner rather than later. The lady behind the bar was lovely, thanks for the memories Auckland Arms 👌🏻👍🏻

Live music of the highest order, The Dave Boyd Experience, friendly welcome and service. An excellent afternoon and great Craic. Thank you Helen.. 🤗⚓🤗

Amazing to find such a great pub these days. Friendly bar staff and great service (he turned the music down without being asked as we approached the table under the speaker ! This really is a significant measure of good service and will ensure we go back there😊)

Very atmospheric. Had a great set of mates to share the experience: always makes it easier. Good service. Reasonable prices. Didn't have any but burgers looked good.

Friendly pub, always made to feel welcome and really feel at home by the fire. The flamboyant decoration is as to be expected with a landlady who always has a sparkle wherever she goes and impeccable taste. Strict Covid rules are observed and you feel totally safe and at ease that absolutely everything the Landlady and her staff are doing is absolutely spot on. The quaint garden is tastefully designed and a tranquil little haven to sit out in on those dry days. This pub is a true gem, my favourite!

Great little pub with lively music on.Fantastic appearance on the outside.Nice pint of real ale.
