The best cod and chips i have had in years. The food arrived very quickly and was so hot you could tell that it had just been cooked

Genuinely the best cod I've ever had at such a reasonable price. I've spent twice as much for fish that wasn't half as meaty and flavourful. Giant chip portions, large is enough for three people!

Great staff, well cooked fish and generous chips. Prices reasonable too. Good to see so many locals supporting this chippy!

Chips were hard tasted like they had been reheated sausage in batter was the same batter was hard threw it in the bin not worth the money I paid 😑

Great food and large portions, however when ordering online to collect it is never ready and have to wait 10-15 mins

Absolutely the best fish and chips we had for a very long time. Large cod is whale sized! The fish was perfectly cooked with crispy batter, and the chips were also lovely. The young guy who served us was very polite and pleasant. We will definitely return when we visit Southsea again.

Top notch fish and chips freshly cooked to order. Wide choice of pies as well as the usual sausages and the like. The fish is really fresh. Chip portions are huge 😍

Visiting Portsmouth and Southsea and found The Cod Squad on a review site. Large cod, chips, cooked fresh whilst I waited. Took them to the promenade. Very nice crispy batter and tasty chips, great portion of white fresh fish. Highly recommended.

Very nice cod and chips, would have got 5 stars but no salt and vinegar after saying yes please when asked.
