ordered takeaway from here tonight.ordered:1/4 aromatic duck with pancakesSingapore rice noodleskung po chickencrispy shredded beefsesame prawn on toastsalt & chilli ribsThe only nice dish was the aromatic duck. The kung po chicken was not crispy like advertised, also there was no sauce, so it was just a clumpy dry tub of chicken with no spiciness to it.The shredded beef was kinda the same, not crispy and no sauce, no taste of chilli at all.The Singapore noodles were greasy and tasteless with hardly any meat in the dish.Prawn toast was soggy & the ribs were mostly cuts of fat.when you spend £40 and receive food at this substandard its hard to not feel robbed and disappointed.Wont be ordering from here again.

Ordered from Uber Eats. It took about an hour to arrive. The salt and pepper squid was soggy, most of the food was greasy. The only nice thing was Chow Mein. Quite expensive for the quality of the food. Would not order again

Never got the chance to offer the pub a proper review. I was told they were dog friendly, when we entered we were asked to leave as they no longer accept dogs. It looked like a nice, spacious pub, the guy who saw us out was polite but it seems a shame you cannot bring your four legged companions along with you. This pub is situated in an area where many people own pooches, my advice is that you will lose custom. Most people who own dogs like to take their fluffy ones out with them. It’s a modern world, most pubs accept dogs nowadays. I went to a different pub and spent my money elsewhere, your loss

After a long day shopping on the way home we thought we would stop in morrisons and have something to eat but no cafe so came outside and saw Compass Rose neither of us had been before but we were both starving. There was a good choice on the menu and we both ordered the cooked breakfast my friend ordered the large, they even swapped my toast for fried bread when asked. We didn't wait long, it was bought out in good time and everything was hot, cooked really well. They were great value for the price paid and lovely friendly service and a nice clean welcoming pub, we will go again.

“Ever since the Chinese couple took it over I have disliked it ever since. Grumpy staff, expensive food, not much food to choose from, no TVs or Wi-fi (used to have it) and pets aren’t allowed when they were allowed with old owners.”
