Great Pub. The Sunday roasts are amazing! Conor and the team really look after you. Dog friendly too! Wish I had taken my ferret!

Hadn't been here for a while and certainly wasn't disappointed. Nice atmosphere, friendly staff, good beer and fantastic food!! Won't leave it so long before returning.

This is a great local that serves excellent food! Lovely team - so friendly - and always welcoming. For the tourists, it's 5 minutes walk from the beach!

Love this pub. Very friendly staff and atmosphere. Great food and a nice selection of drinks. Even better as its under a 5 minute walk from (our) home. After a good walk along the seafront with friends nothing beats a cheeky drink or dinner on our way back. Can't fault it

Popped by for a Sunday roast encouraged by their lovely reviews. I am super happy with the experience: nice pub, great food and drinks, friendly and competent service. Just be advised that the portions are very generous so you may consider sharing one roast if you are not that hungry. Will be visiting again soon!

Absolutely fantastic meal, great service. The staff were extremely attentive and patient (we were talking alot). Would definitely book here again. We were not rushed and had an absolutely great experience.

Had a steak at lunchtime and was really good. Signs on the table can be reversed so you can order via the app or request table service.... such a good idea. The service was polite and efficient and will visit here again when in Portsmouth.

The service was impeccable but I think the food was a little over priced for what I had. The coleslaw needs to be shredded more finely. I didn't enjoy the big chunks of cabbage and the Mediterranean tart was soggy. I had the tavern mess for pudding which was a big disappointment sadly, right down to the wafers being stale in mine. 😶. The place has a fabulous atmosphere and as I said the staff were perfect. A tiny bit more attention to parts of the food and it would be great.
