The Golden Tree in Portsmouth

They called The Golden Tree for a reason...Great quality of food, quantity and taste what is worth trying...Honest opinion one of the Best ChineseWe had for a long time

Having been using this chinese about 20 years and it has to be one on the best in Portsmouth. They dont deliver wich is the only down fall but I'm willing to walk for a good chinese! They are open Wed-Sat.

I ordered a Singapore fried rice this evening which was absolutely delicious. The vegetables were fresh and the meat was succulent. I travel up and down the country a lot and would definitely rate The golden tree in my top 3 based on what I've tasted so far.

I used the place a lot until about a year ago. Don't know what has happened but it's gone down hill. Less meat. And over all taste isn't as good. Ordered for my son's birthday. Very disappointed. Have found the lucky Panda much better

Best takeaway in the town. Good sized portions, well cooked. Fast, efficient and friendly. Never been disappointed. Highly recommended.

I've been using the golden tree since 1981 and have never had a bad experience, the food is amazing and the staff always have a friendly smile. Excellent

The golden tree was closed on thurs 15th nov there was a note on the door but it was too dark to see.I always use this take away and have done so for many years,it is the best in portsmouth by far.

A hidden gem. Amazing food which you will never find out about unless you visit as they do not deliver and are not on the delivery apps. Love this place as there is a real back in time feel to the menu and flavours which are forever lost with the usual conveyor belt take away's.
