The John Jacques in Portsmouth

Great place to eat and drink and the staff are very friendly and polite.

Opens early, serves alcohol from 9am did was quick and fast but could be cleaner, quite sticky tables.

Have visited for food and drink on a number of occasions. While the decor and bathrooms leave a lot to be desired, it does seem to have a good range of people and the staff are always friendly. The prices have gone up but it still offers a good range of food, guest ales and cider as is normal for a good Wetherspoon.

Nice atmosphere easily manoeuvred through the busy pub to the garden area on my mobility scooter I will be popping in again and I will be recommending the John j to other wheelchair ♿ or mobility scooter users

Good food and a nice pub overall but nothing specifically stood out.

Good and cheap pub food. Always easy to find a table here during the day. Staff are nice and helpful. Toilets are upstairs (typical spoons). Quick and easy to use the app.

It was extremely busy when we were there. They need to sort the mens bathroom out. Nice staff and cheap drinks though.

Normal large drinking den, bright but the same as all other Weatherspoons. It is what it is, cheap and cheerful, starting to look its age though, staff OK can't speak about the food, I didn't eat

Great location in Fratton, economical and good choices. Ambiance is great as well. Spacious and fantastic crowd.

Great local pub and sports bar handy for fratton train station and near football ground. Lots of good beers wine and gin selection. Food is cheap n cheerful. Staff are lovely.
