Amazing hidden gem in Portsmouth. Great variety of drinks and the food is just to die for. We had the sharing platter and it exceeded expectations. Wish I had found this place years ago. Can't wait to go again.

Amazing little pub and restaurant. Food is incredible. Staff are very friendly. Booking is 109% advised. The sharing platter is amazing and great value. You must try the Rhubarb mead... Childhood memories of rhubarb & custard sweets in alcoholic liquid form!! This place is absolutely amazing and highly recommended. Now I must try their famous roast dinners one Sunday...!!

You get alot of good food for the price you pay! Lovely service from the staff and nice atmosphere inside to enjoy a drink and or food. Definitely a place I will visit again.

Astonishingly good food in a great atmosphere. We had the roast which was cooked to perfection and generous portions. I can't recommend the beef enough but the other meats and veggie options were also sublime. You will not be disappointed with this place.

Came here for my birthday meal as its had been highly reccommended to us by a family member. Price was quite reasonable for the amount of food you get, and most of it was pretty good. The Titanic ale is pretty good as well. We left feeling very stuffed, so bring an appetite

Down for the weekend and decided to book for Sunday dinner as heard great things about the place. The food was outstanding and would definitely recommend. As we are frequent visitors to the area we shall make sure we book every time we come down. Will make sure we have cash for a tip as couldn’t add to the bill. As the staff were very welcoming and attentive. Great work guys

Food and staff were excellent, no complaints at all. Except this. I was given a £30 voucher for Christmas when booking a table on line I was told that I had to pay a £20 deposit. I phoned to explain about the voucher. The lady who I spoke to said that if the bill did not come to £50 what was left would be refunded back to my card.My bill came to £44.30 so I expected the balance to be refunded.Guess what, they wouldn't refund me.Maybe you can explain WHY.I was advised to use the £20 voucher and pay the difference and keep the £10 voucher. Not happy with this. But must say again that the food and staff were excellent.

Well the food was to die for..was incredible. Definitely pre-book we saw at least 6 people turned away as too busy. Leave time for parking as can see that being an issue for groups. Me and my partner got the Polar bear sharer we gave it a good go but took some home in a doggy bag... Our dog didnt get a look in i scoffed it. My pic in the Tavern didnt do it justice everything fell off the bone will definitely be going back... Almost dont want to tell people incase it gets too popular.

'best kept secret of Southsea'Nice pub with a great selection of beers. The food by Bearbonesbbq.co.uk was mouthwatering and really got your taste buds going, Well worth a visit. As the sign says best kept secret of Southsea.King Street Tavern is a bit of the main 'tourist' traps but worth the walk.Didn't have a roast but they do look amazing and will be going back for one.
