The Lady Hamilton in Portsmouth

Hotel room with a free peephole so that others can check whats going on in the family room.They would fix it up later but, this is how much they care for their customers and their privacy.

First room was a bit smaller than we expected but they kindly moved us into the family room which was beautiful with amazing views. And the location is spot on

I really enjoyed the meal, the atmosphere and our lovely server. I went with my 2 daughters and we all said how nice it was.

A great pub where you can hold a good conversation with friends without having to shout

The price of staying here is exceptional! The location is perfect, a minute walk to the coast and a clear view of the spinnaker tower and the dockyard. The room is clean, and a good size. The breakfast is amazing and you get a range of options!

Nice roast dinner and plenty on the plate. There was a long wait before being attended to because they were fairly busy and only one member of staff to take orders, serve and supply the beverages.

Spent one night at the Lady Hamilton with my husband. We arrive at 8:30pm to closed and locked doors, with no information and staff on to ask about how to get in. We phoned them with no reply. We finally got the hotel and room key's from the Keppel Head Hotel near by. The said double room, was so small that the bed was in the corner against the wall, with only one pillow per person. The floor was dirty and the bed was lumpy. The bathroom mirror was so high on the wall, that I was only able to see the top of my head ( hair only). The only thing that was good was the breakfast, which was in the other hotel.

We had a budget double. White fluffy towels and fresh white bedding. Hot shower and very clean. Friendly helpful staff , would definitely stay again. If you have RN family you're meeting its literally 20 secs from Nelson Dockyard gate 😊
