The Midnight Tandoori in Portsmouth

Home delivery review. Food turned up wonderfully presented and hot. A couple of free poppadoms included, which is always appreciated! All very tasty and will certainly use again.

Low quality food. Curry is tasteless and sauces are coloured using food colouring. Mint sauce is glowing like its radiated. There are much better Indian places around the city, which actually care about their food.

Full disclosure, we are regulars here, but even so... We have never had a bad meal at T&Js, but tonight's meal was wonderful, our favourite Indian restaurant in Portsmouth.

A group of six spent an excellent evening. Food went down extremely well. Service was great. Will return and recommend.

Amazing food, fast service. Good value

I feel absolutely ashamed of my 3 star rating but even though the meal tasted incredible, lovely and hot, best onion bahjis ever!There was a bone in my curry and my partners curry was warm at best! I'm truly hoping this was an outlier as judging by the reviews this is one of the best Indian curry houses in Portsmouth.If you are looking for amazing flavours and don't mind occasional additions and varying temperatures then definitely try T &J mahal.

Excellent food, nice staff, will go again if in Portsmouth

The food I ordered arrived half an hour late and stone cold. The portions were tiny on the starters (despite the high price) and the bread was hard. The food might have been nice if it had been delivered evenly remotely warm, but it wasn't. This used to be a great place when I used it years ago, but I'm really disappointed, out of pocket, still hungry, and won't be ordering from there again.
