The Ship Leopard Boutique Hotel & Cafe in Portsmouth

Friendly staff and amazing location, however the hotel itself is not clean. The walls had clearly not been washed in several months of guests, hadn't been vacuumed recently either, there was a dark stain on our bedsheets, and the mugs & spoons had coffee stains. We only stayed for a night and it didn't bother us, but be warned! Breakfast was wonderful but the best of it is made-to-order and we didn't have time to wait that morning unfortunately.

Nice big room with king bed and awesome view of the harbor. Two minute walk from the train station and five minute walk from the historic dockyard. Full English breakfast or continental breakfast included. Friendly staff!

Such a lovely hotel a stones through away from the historical Dock yard and gun wharf keys. The hotel colleagues are extremely welcoming and helpful. Our room was sparklingly clean.The breakfast was freshly cooked and there plenty of it.We'll definitely be returning to the charming hotelI e stayed a few times at this hotel. Never been disabled

If visiting Historic Portsmouth Dockyard it's a great location. Also near many good restaurants and the Gunwharf Quays retail centre. Breakfast excellent, staff friendly and efficient, room a good size with fantastic view of HMS Warrier. Only one thought , some of decor a little tired but everything else truly compensated.Views from our bedroom .

Very good location, near to Gunwharf, the train station and The Mary Rose. Comfortable single room, excellent breakfast, helpful staff.

Absolutely fantastic service and stunning room with a perfect view, used to use the local Ibis but never again!!!

Stayed in a Superior King room for 2 nights. The room was spacious, comfortable and clean, and has a modern bathroom with a large shower. The view from the window of the HMS Warrior and the harbour is amazing. The hotel is situated next to the Historic Dockyard, opposite the railway station, and a few minutes walk from the Gunwharf Keys shopping centre with a large choice of restaurants and bars. The hotel has a private car park, the staff were friendly and efficient, and the breakfast was good. As with any town centre hotel, you are likely to get some noise at night from revellers returning home. Will certainly stay again.

The second time I have stayed here which says it all. Given it's location and own car park you could do a lot worse for more money. Do be aware though that it doesn't have a restaurant, other than for breakfast which is excellent, but the local area has so many options this is not a problem.

Lovely hotel. Great service, centrally located approx 180-200 metres from Gunwharf Quays. Excellent room with views of Spinnaker tower and HMS Warrior. Very good breakfast, with good choice and friendly service. Parking to rear. Would highly recommend.

We stayed nearby for two nights for my daughters graduation and after a heavy night we needed a further stay in Portsmouth, our then current B&B was full and we found this hotel on Hotels.com. We were not disappointed. We were given a beautiful room on the top floor looking straight out to the Spinnaker and Mary Rose. On top of that and most importantly the staff we met upon arrival and throughout (including 3.30am upon our return from a night out) and at breakfast when I was very fragile, were nothing short of amazing. Top class customer service. Clean, luxurious room, brilliant breakfast and always prepared to go the extra step. Particular thanks for allowing us a late check out. Cannot recommend enough. Keep doing what you're doing. We will for sure be back!
