Had such a great time as always but Freya went above and beyond to make it an amazing evening. She always made sure me and my friends got what we needed and was just at the top of her game. Hope to be served by her next time I come. Thank you Freya

Thank you to Michael who was our waiter this afternoon. He was so lovely, and helped to make our afternoon tea extra special.If you have not tried the Cake and Cocktails, I would highly recommend. For £22 per head, you had a choice of sandwich filling, a scone with cream and jam and a selection of small cakes, topped off with two cocktails or mock tails. The food was amazing, scones were light and melted in the mouth (thank you to the kitchen staff).Michael, you made our afternoon celebrating my daughter’s 30th birthday even more special

After a bit of Xmas shopping, the wife and I decide to try the food here. After queuing at the bar for nearly 10 mins mins, we decided to go upstairs, where there was a sign saying "wait here to be seated". A sign or person needs to be downstairs to say this. We ordered the festive sharer (see pic). It was really good and pretty filling . My favorite was the mozzarella bites. And for £17.99, pretty good value as well.

Was served today by Jess and wow what an outstanding member of staff you have !! She helped us to choose cocktails and we thoroughly enjoyed the six that we had !!!! Thank you Jess !!! We will definitely be back soon !

Great cocktail watching the sunset.BUT!Tuesday 7th SeptBooked a table for 18:30.Arrived 10 minutes early and seen to the table. Order for starter and mains taken, starter came out about 19.00. Very apologetic waitress apologising for delay . No real problem. Mains came out at 19.40 . All food tasty and hot. Waitress came over at 20:00 to see if all was OK and we asked for desserts, only to be told the kitchen weren't taking any more orders as they were playing catch up as they were busy.Disappointed to say the least. Come on S&L don't take more orders than you can cope with .

Went there later in the day and was told that they had no beers or lagers and the only food left was burgers. When it arrived the burger was ok but the fries were limp and cold. Also the two of us was given one knife and fork and serviette. Staff behind the upper bar were ok.

Absolutely love this place. Came over from the Isle of Wight to meet my daughter for shopping at Gunwharf and lunch and drinks at Slug and Lettuce. 2 4 1 cocktails and lovely food. Always our go to place. Always very friendly staff and fantastic service.

The staff were really friendly! I was there on a lovely sunny day and it was sooo busy. Make sure you have a reservation (went there on a whim after shopping in the mall) the waiting time to get in is crazy but the staff was really helpful and they tried their best.The food was great, but it took so long to come out (again it was a busy day so on a normal day I don’t know how it goes). There was a 2 for one cocktail special 😍.Also on Sunday there was some kind of water burst or something so my sister’s food order got lost along the way. It was sorted eventually but I was almost done with my food by then and she said it was worth the wait.They also do not have any areas to charge phones and cannot offer the facility as it’s a fire hazard (My phone battery was running low due to taking pictures and videos in the mall).Overall it was an ok experience, great views and good food, friendly staff. I would love to go there on a day that isn’t busy and get a proper picture of what the place is like.
