The Southsea Village in Portsmouth

I was only here briefly but found the ambience to be great. Love love LOVE that the pub is dog friendly. I ordered the buffalo fingers and they were delicious!! Best I've had in the UK. I grew up two hours from Buffalo and this was honestly the best version of buffalo anything that I've had in my 2.5 years since moving here. Well done! I look forward to trying out more of the menu in future. The staff were very friendly and helpful!

Stopped in here after watching some bands on the Castle Fields.It wasn’t too busy for a Saturday afternoon.Plenty of seating inside with tv screens & music & there are tables outside too.It’s situated on Palmerston Road with many of the other similar establishments.It offered the usual pub fayre & we had a burger & fries, with a pint to wash it down.Usual price & the service was good.

Lovely food, dog friendly and really helpful staff. 100 percent recommend this place 🙂

The food was tasty.. small portions for the price but I guess that is because I am a big guy.. it's a nice environment and the staff are friendly.. really nice for lunch time on the weekend..

Great pub. Went in to catch some rugby, managed to bag a free sofa. Loads of screens, good selection of craft beers and bar food looked great (we didn't eat). The kitchen is open plan too which I liked. Busy, good atmosphere, thoroughly enjoyed the visit.

Had an amazing night in here 2/4 had the little somethings buffalo buttermilk fingers, buffalo wing onion rings and buff chips. Delicious food and made fresh. Cant wait to come again. The lady with blue hair that served us was really nice too.

Amazing evening at The Southsea Village. Enjoyed their 2 pizzas for £13 deal which were absolutely delicious. Lisa was brilliantly helpful and gave us some good recommendation. Will definitely visit again

Me and 2 friends went there for their all you can eat wings Wednesday.Everything was cooked fresh and was super tasty, I'll definitely be going back to try other things on the menu.They have a incredible selection of drinks with knowledgeable staff, who made great recommendations.We were served by Emma who couldn't have been better. I'd honestly recommend anyone go to this pub.

First time in here for quite a while, it's no longer a pub to be honest more a eatery now, but I must say they served the best Doom Bar ale I've ever had, no other ales on offer sadly. Over 10 squids for a wine and beer ouch. But clean and tidy, friendly staff.

Solid 4.5 stars! (just a shame I cant give half stars)It was such a nice restaurant to be in, first time being down in Southsea and stumbled across this place due to Covid and original place we wanted to eat was full in numbers - We had a temp check at the door then was seated in seconds.The service was good, friendly and enjoyable for the kids, full menu was on the cards (August 2020) so was happy to gain the full experience. The dining area had a calm pub like atmosphereFood - was nice and decent sizes even down the the kids meals as see attached. The starters that we had could have been shared between the 4 of us. The Kids Pizza's we didn't expect to be that big but it was perfect size for them both. The Mains I would have liked more chips however with the starter/sides we had I turned out to be okay would have liked more sauce for the size of the meals but hey everyone is different.Toilets were clean. The overall time spent in this restaurant was just a great vibeonly improvement I would say is to have better deserts for someone who is allergic to chocolate its hard to find somewhere which doesnt sell a decent desert without chocolate, so improvement would be to switch it up a little
