Night out with work early-April 2022 .. good beer, helps that I didn’t have to pay for it 😀 fish and chips was awesome as was fresh and quantity was just right. Location is awesome as you can watch the boats go by as you slowly sink into a beer fuelled haze. Docked a star as it’s expensive compared to others.

Amazing view from this pub. Great food and service 🙂

A fantastic place to relax and take in the views of the port! This is located away from the busy shopping outlet which means it's a lot more quieter. When I visited, they had a good selection of craft beers, which you wouldn't normally see in a Fuller's public house.

Amazing food and drinks! Upstairs has gorgeous views and the service was lovely. Select menu but the food was all delicious

The views from this restaurant on the first floor across the harbour are amazing, the food is reasonably priced and is good quality. Would highly recommend a visit for the views alone, good food and beer is an added bonus. In the summer it is great to be able to sit out side and watch all the boats and ships going by.

Wonderful lunch - served by Henry Fish and chips, to perfection, staff friendly professional and very efficient . Thank you for a good experience.

We had a lovely family lunch here after a dip in the sea. We love the fact that you can just watch the world (and ferries) go by. Lovely seating inside and out and a good menu to choose from. We had Mushrooms on toasted brioche, a poached egg and hollandaise sauce, and the gorgeous burgers. Lovely friendly staff too. Well worth a visit!

Fantastic pub in the old town. Great views overlooking the bay. It’s a Fullers pub, it was so clean and the food was amazing. They have a great selection of beers and wines. A lovely beer garden, and some great seething inside over looking the bay.

A great pub with the most stunning outdoor seating area. Sat and enjoyed a pint listening to the waves hitting the rocks next to us. Friendly staff.

Firstly, purely for location, drink and the Team, I would give this place 5 stars easily. It has to be one of the best locations in Portsmouth. What a view!! I can’t think of a better place to have a Beer. (Other than back home in Cornwall). However, the food slightly let it down.I had a Burger, it was good, but in this day and age, Burgers can easily be made epic and it was just ordinary. The “Secret Sauce” essentially a cross between American Mustard and Mayo with a subtle hint of Spice. I just felt it could be better for nearly £15. Comparing it to something like Byron or Honest, if they score a 7 or 8 out of 10, then this is 5 at best.Mum had the Chicken Kiev. And while the chicken itself was proper juicy, the breadcrumb was a little greasy/oily and the Mash it came with, almost liquid from the Butter. (You can see the pool of Butter in the Pic) Complimented by just a Teaspoon of over wilted Spinach. As I say, it wasn’t bad at all. It was okay Pub Food. What I’d expect from your average village local. But I’ve eaten in some great Pubs that do really great food. And this was just ordinary with no wow factor I’m afraid. Some careless food mistakes that could very easily be rectified to turn it into a stunning 5/5 all round venue.Chips and the Beer…Location and Staff, yeah they all get a 5/5.
