I have used Premier Inn around Portsmouth on several occasions, unfortunately this one has let the rest down. The room itself was not bad, small things need attention like the mattress being a little worn so that springs could be felt and there was a broken shower screen that harboured mould. There was also someone else's underwear found within the supposedly clean bedding. The night staff were friendly and very helpful in resolving this, however they promised stuff that could not be fulfilled. The morning staff were a little grumpy and very aggressive at first until the manager was called for.Breakfast was a let down and felt as if it was not 100% fresh and cooked at the neighboring premier Inn.Full refund has been given andI have used Premier Inn since this visit. I am however unlikely to visit this one again.

The Premier Inn Port Solant is in an excellent position to visit many areas, Portsmouth and Southsea, I stayed for a total of four days, The hotel was clean and has excellent parking though towards the evening it can be difficult to find a space. The room was clean and well maintained, The reception and general area like bar and restaurant was great, Not forgetting the facilities nearby like Pizza Hut, Tescos, McDonald's and KFC.Breakfast and dinner at the hotel was fine and the staff were excellent in all they did even with supply shortages which sometimes was evident at breakfast and dinner. The staff made the hotel and it really is something I feel is important, Helpful and friendly, Have no complaints about the staff at all, Well done all, Excellent time and stay, Will certainly return to this hotel.

Standard Premier Inn which was fine. Rang before arrival to ask for room on top floor - was told "will see what I can do". Was allocated room on first floor so no point in ringing.

We checked into your hotel on Friday not going home until Monday night but this short time we have been here was so lovely thanks to Tina B and Audrey for making us feel welcomed as we past by they both took the time to say good morning. I (Peter Parke ) went out to ask for tea bags and they got chatting to me again what beautiful lady's taking time out to make sure we had all we needed .You should be very proud of them as they made us feel welcomed with their beautiful words .We will be using this hotel again for sure and we are overwhelmed with the stay .Thank you to you all its people like yourself that keeps us customers coming back .Wish I could say more but am not good with words . Love from Peter and daughter Deanna Parke ❤️Xx

We stayed for a couple of nights midweek. Our room was clean bed comfortable, disappointing not to be serviced. The heating wasn't very efficient. We did enjoy a drink in the bar and a tasty breakfast. Staff were friendly, although busy we didn't hear any noise.

Stayed here as working in the PO6 area so was convenient for that.Staff have been really helpful and friendly. On first arriving we was given what I think was a family room with one smaller bed than the other. We asked if we could have a twin room as it was for 2 adult work colleagues. Receptionist gave us a different room straight away.We have added a few more days on to our stay, the receptionist was helpful with this ensuring we could keep the same room so we didn't have to move all of our stuff to another room.Would definitely recommend here and would stay again.

The rooms were very clean and the beds comfy. However the towel rail didn't work. The place is extremely understaffed and you could be waiting either at the bar or resturant to be served for sometime. The food is a mix bag, the veggie options are nice but rather on the small side. I paid for a buffet breakfast where you help yourself but this disappeared and it became an ordering service, so the advertisement which I was sold in that you could return for more was no longer available.

Brilliant clean and tidy let us check in an hour early we also left my wife's hair straighteners there and realised a few days later we called and they had them stored away for us safely so pleased! Bed is amazing!!!

We were looked after well. But I was impressed with Tina. She was covering front desk, bar and dinner area. She was on the move. Saw some at front desk while clear dinner table. Stopped and went to front desk to help two people coming in. She then jumped on the bar to service. I was impressed. She knows what customers service is about. We tipped her.Tina well done.

For the price of £39 it was okay but breakfast wasn't great. It wasn't the best Prem inn I have stayed in. The best bits are super comfy bed but downside is everything was in need of updating, looked old and tired. The en-suite wasnt big enough to have a sink in it so the sink was weirdly in the room. Curtains hanging from rail, dusty and room carpet was tacky under foot.Breakfast for the price was a bit of a let down. The savory were stale definitely not fresh. The vegan sausages were in fact vegetarian (the menu variation was pointed out) the few slices of bread that were there were stale (good job I wanted them toasted!) It was below average. Good range of drinks in the bar for an evening night cap. Good parking and close to food outlets. Staff very friendly and helpful which was nice.
