This is the best pace in the whole UK for a burger,everything is cooked to perfection, has been established for about 40 years here in North end portsmouth, I love this place

Best burgers ever made...tried these back in my teens(80s) and I still love them today....no other burger can touch them....

We travelled from Eastleigh to Portsmouth today (a 48 mile round trip) just to visit Uncle Sam's it's that good. I've probably visited most of their shops as when I want a burger and a triple thick shake I make straight for the nearest. Unfortunately they never had the apple pies today but I'm happy to forgive that as long as they restock soon.If you have never tried Uncle Sam's then make it top of your list and you will never go near MC Donald's or burger king again.

I’ve heard really good things about uncle Sam’s and know it’s been around a while so thought I’d give it a go....To start with my friends coke was flat, which was disappointing. I ordered a strawberry milkshake which was average at best, and on the smaller side.The chips are very bland and rather tasteless.The burger was the best bit, but still only slightly better than Burger King in terms of quality.I was also still hungry after despite ordering the largest meal on the menu, and so visited my local takeaway after.Overall for £9 a rather disappointing experience unfortunately.

Had to be the BEST burger place around! I have been coming into Uncle Sams since I had teeth in my face! Unforgettable smell and taste! Classic burger choices,great milkshakes! Everytime I return to pompey i always head in and see Jane and the team! Even had my mum get three double garlic burgers smuggle them back through customs to Belfast! One of a kind place!!
