I was visiting Beefeater for breakfast again. They still have staffing issues but we had very good experience. Waitress was welcoming and helpful, food was nice and topped up at all times. No reason to complain. I wish staff was more appreciated there, they are doing very good job. I’ll keep coming back for breakfasts 😊

Just left here for an easy Sunday dinner, only to be told that they had the Lunch menu available due to staff shortage...that was waiting for 5 minutes to be greeted as a human being. The menu was peppered with caveats like a contract with Putin, the unlimited soft drinks was limited to only diet coke or coke zero, the mushy peas was closer to an Avocado soup, the atmosphere was flatter than Nicole Kidman's chest & having been presented with a £28 bill for a few plates of utter b*****k's was confirmation that I would never visit again. A real shame as the establishment is only a 1 minute walk away, but I rather walk an hour just to get away from that experience.

Visited 13th may 2022. Nandos had a very long wait so we ended up at Beefeater.Waited about 15 mins to be seated, it was not busy. Maybe 20% of tables were occupied. But hey ho... We thought maybe they are short staffed? Our waitress Chloe was lovely but everything took ages everywhere. There seemed plenty of cooks in the kitchen but unfortunately part of our food was waiting under the heat lamp for at least 20 mins then when most eventually arrived, turned out my salmon would still be 7 mins ( so only just putting it on the grill!) And most of the things were sub standard, unripened tomatoes only just touched the grill, were stone cold! Kids burger was dry and tasteless. We cancelled the salmon as this felt all unacceptable.Manager reduced our bill by 25%. Still not worth the price. Will stick to breakfast only at Beefeater from now on as it seems to be consistently ok.I shall add there were other unhappy customers returning food to the kitchen ( cooks were questioning that?! Omg!!! Poor waiting staff! )And the toilets were either dirty, blocked or not fully functional! Really bad experience.Only decent thing was the steak! So at least one person partially happy with their meal.

Went there today for a bank holiday meal. Well was awful they didn't have half of what we asked for so had to re look. It took an hr from the starter to the mains which all came out separately. Then another hour for my children to get there puddings even tho I asked 3 times. When they came... we'll god knows how it took so long the children could of made them them self's. So slow and very unhappy will not ever return wasted bank holiday with disappointing food 😞

For a lunchtime service was a little slow, but the staff were very friendly. Food took a while to come out. Was tasty tho. Worth going just make sure you don't have time restrictions.

Been to this restaurant numerous times due to staying in the premier Inn with work. I'm not sure being greeted at the door for breakfast with a "yep" and nothing else, is a company policy, 8 times in the last 6 months I have stayed here, and it's the same greeting. The hot buffet is not hot, too much food is prepared, and shoveled under the hot lights.an all round disappointment. Managing Premier Inns, and Brewers Fayre's and Beefeaters for 18 years, it's quite sad to see this level of "can't be arsed" very sad.

Emailed an offer back in January for 50% off. We thought we would book for father-in-law's birthday on the 6th Feb. Restaurant has had booking for at least two weeks but decide to call the day of the booking to inform that their kitchen has nit been open for a while and will be a few more weeks before it is sorted.Lost voucher, and no Restaurant to celebrate birthday with family. Had they informed us earlier we could have found a different place to eat.Edit since I have spoken to the restaurant they have been great. We were offered a new voucher and when we used this time the food was good. The wings were crispy and good to eat and I can recommend the banoffee sundae

The breakfast here is very poor, one of the worst I have had in a long time. The bacon is streaky bacon which was slightly cold, there were no eggs and the beans were cold too. The staff do not seem interested when we tried to ask them any questions. They did not offer anything vegetarian which is very unusual as one of our party was a veggie. Very dissapointing.

Sat down at 6:30pm and was still there 2 hours later.Drinks took 45 mins to come after having the waitress come back twice to ask what our order was again. Massive gap between started and main course that no one was even hungry anymore. My daughter didn’t get her food till an hour late.No customer care such as asking if we’re okay, if we need anything else etc.No drinks throughout dinner as was waiting for them. Thoroughly disappointed with this visitOnly positive was that the food was really nice.I then had to leave my family eating as my young daughter was overtired as it was past her bedtime. Didn’t expect to wait so long overall 😒ONE STAR!Wanted to edit this and add our experience the next morning for breakfast. The manager was absolutely lovely and really welcoming. Excellent customer care and available anytime you needed him.Excellent range of full English breakfast buffet food available. Also cereals, fresh fruit, crumpets, pain Au chocolat, croissants available. Really delicious food. Thank you to the amazing manager and great chefs. As a result I’m adding a star.

Awful. Just a really slow level of service (Admittedly 'Pingdemic' might be contributing) they had very little food availability and it was constant to and fro from the kitchen regarding whether or not they have it. The picture depicts a meal that costs 21 pounds (the ribs were really good) but the chicken was absolutely tiny and the chips had to be re done as was cold! I waited 25 minutes for a second beer, for them to tell me they was out. Just a very poor level of service, the staff seemed friendly enough, but not at a standard I would expect from a beefeater.
