Bina Tandoori in Reading

It was our first visit yesterday, and we had a great meal. We had the buffet. There were over 14 dishes to chose from, and the ones I ate were all delicious. The staff were nice and friendly. The atmosphere was lovely, great ambience. The naan was hot and fresh, the chicken dishes were nice and tasty. We had a lovely time and we shall be returning soon. I recommend this restaurant. It’s the best Indian restaurant I’ve been to so far in Reading.Update- The Sunday buffet was nice. It would be nice if the menu was changed ever so often or once in a while.

Food was OK, Sunday buffet was OK, staff were OK, just OK, patience required as its a buffet and the restaurant don't rush , nice food but overall expectations were slightly disappointing if I'm honest

Today me and my daughter went to Bina Tandoori, the buffet was amazing, so many different dishes, was worth every penny. The best place for us. Service was also very good. Thanks very much. See you soon again.

Had the Sunday buffet and it was most enjoyable. Good selection of freshly cooked options and friendly staff. Pudding not great but they never are ! Thanks

A brilliant Indian restaurant that has stood the test of time in Reading. Ate here in mid June 2021, very warm welcome from staff, beautifully cooked food, spotlessly clean and very good value. Highly recommend, especially the Karahi Tandoori dishes

I live in Caversham and was thinking to try it every time I walked past this restaurant and finally did on my Birthday in weekend. I am not sure about non vegetarian dishes which were myriad in Menu , I ordered vegetarian dishes from few options available. The boxes of the paneer masala and Okra were already leaking with oil but still thought the taste must be good for dishes prepared in so much oil. I was shocked as even the taste was not at all good and seemed like I made a big mistake.Had to throw the remaining in the bin, pics show the oil in sabji.

A reliable and good quality Indian/Bangladeshi restaurant and takeaway (also on Deliveroo). Friendly waiters, who even gave me a red rose on one visit. A good selection of traditional dishes, other varieties, and sides. A smart restaurant, with white table cloths & serving trolleys. Food is tasty & fresh.

Ordered takeaway at 5:30pm for delivery for 7:15pm. After waiting 20 minutes past delivery time, we decided to call the restaurant to find out what was going on. They made up multiple excuses and tried arguing with us with no apology! Eventually when it did arrive 30 minutes late, the food was lukewarm, completely tasteless and very oily. I have never had such a bad Indian take away before!

Decent enough food, service was poor though. The waiters were all stone-faced and looked like they did not want to be there; whoever manages this place needs to take a look at themselves. I suspect it's the guy in the grey suit who stands looking miserable.After waiting 10 minutes for a drinks order, I stood at the bar to check on status. The guy there pretended to be busy and kept his back to me for a good 2 minutes before finally bluntly acknowledging me and taking my order.Do yourself a favour and go somewhere that actually wants your custom.

An average standard restaurant with Indian Bangladeshi dishes. The prices are reasonable but all dishes are not. It took 25 minutes for our meal to arrive for two persons and restaurant was about 20% full on one Thursday evening.The staffs were friendly, polite and helpful. The best value for money were the plain tandoori Nan bread but both lamb and chicken legs were tough though lamb curry sauce was better tasting than Karahi Chicken.The dessert Kulfi was a waste of money - I had only one pistachio in pistachio kulfi and the rest of that was green coloured ice lolly with dull taste! Very poor indeed. I pointed it out to the waiter but he only gave a sheepish grin but nothing happened??? He said I was lucky to get one pistachio.
