The food here was amazing. Ribs were cooked just right. Nice and tender. The jackfruit bbq burger was a nice change to typical vegan food. Service was good. Very friendly staff.

Overall service was very good. Seated and served quickly. Coffee refills were regular. Food was good but could of done with hash size being about double. Pancakes were good. Will return at some point when in town.

I have not been to Bluegrass BBQ since they opened, because I grew up in the American South eating and living barbecue as a way of life, and it is quite rare for a British restaurant trying to serve American food to get it right. Almost always it falls short of what it could be, and that is the case here. For some reason my wife suggested this place for dinner, and I said yes. I blame myself for this abysmal meal. There was no smell of wood smoke outside the place or inside. The inside looks a lot like any smokehouse in America, but that is where the similarities end. The pulled pork I ate had no smoke ring & no smoke flavour. If your restaurant has "BBQ" in its name, you need to actually smoke the proteins. This smelled & tasted like oven roasted pork. I don't have a problem with oven cooked food, but when you're a restaurant trading on American smokehouse barbecue themes, delivering flavour should be the priority. And there should always be a lingering smell of wood smoke inside the restaurant and definitely outside. It's a byproduct of the cooking method and, for people who care about barbecue is what will show the difference between a pit master and a pretender. The second second problem was any food cooked in the fryer: the oil was not at the correct temperature, which left everything greasy & unappealing. The fried pickles, aka "Frickles", had thick, soggy batter and a couple of ml worth of oil in every bite. I actually took the batter off and ate the pickles plain, with the oil and batter soggily coating the tray it was served in. My partner's main came with sweet potato fries that had the distinction of being both cold and soggy, also suffering from improper cooking. I'm not sure how long the kitchen staff have been working, but if tonight is any indication they are doing it wrong! It's the little things that matter, and keeping your oil at the correct frying temperature is an easy one.My Pulled Pork and Pancakes main meal was delivered to the table with about a tablespoon of pulled pork that looks & smells like it was oven roasted. The menu said it came with 3 layers of pulled pork, and the picture in the menu looked amazing! The dish was not amazing. The pork was tasteless with zero smoke presence, and I guess not really surprising but there also was no rub used on the pork before cooking it. Honestly it tasted like a Sainsbury's pork shoulder baked in the oven. The pancakes & bacon were nice, but overall this was a pathetic meal. For a grand total of £63 for the two of us, we would have had better food (and value) just about anywhere else near the Oracle. Even dinner at McDonald's would have been better, because they aren't lying about what they are serving. This is by far the worst meal out I have had in the past five years, and they do BBQ an injustice by serving this well below average food.If I had the option to leave zero stars, I would have. If you want to do better Bluegrass BBQ, get in touch with me & I will show you step by step how to smoke great meats & veggies.

The place is nice. If you wanna order you need to do it throught the app or go to the bar. They have a good local beer lager. We had a Pit Boss Plater, the ribs and the corn was really tasty. All other meat was good but nothing special (as I would expect from bbq house).

Food was awful. Onion rings were renamed to oil rigs. As they were soaked. Staff were rude and did not want to serve us let alone work. Payment system was useless. You had to use an app which did not match onsite menus but also start a fresh order to add more drinks etc.

I had a great time here and the food and drink were beautifully cooked and presented. The burger "Tennessee Burger" was amazing and had plenty of flavor but also it wasn't over greasy so it didn't fall apart like at other places I have been to. The service was very good and using the app to order was a simple task. I had a burger at Gordon Ramsay's street burger and I thought that was good but this was miles better.

My son and I visited for lunch last week. We were greeted & seated by a very polite and helpful young lady. Our food arrived promptly and was delicious! Thank you Bluegrass, we will definitely be back again soon 🤩

Good menu, friendly staff and good ordering system, great food... Full of flavour, loved it. Nice to have a pint of Soundwave by Siren as well.

Genuinely really delicious food. The chicken was great, chips were Christy and seasoned (I suggest getting the Texas ones). My boyfriend got the Southern fried chicken sandwich and it was massive and looked tasty as well! As an American I rate this as a must try, and the root beer was good too. 😋
