Caversham Tandoori in Reading

Very disappointed, with all the good reviews it had we expected a good meal, our meals tasted reheated the onion barges were hard and not tasty and the rice was dried out. We won't go there again.

I get very nervous trying new Indians but caversham tandooris is my absolute favourite! Not too greasy, great spice level, lamb in any of their dishes is too tender melt in the mouth! I'm working my way through the menu but my favourite has been having a masala daal in this bad weather and stuffed paratha 😍 the team seem so lovely and friendly!! Also for the price I think it's amazing!!

Onion basis were absolutely crisp and not dense inside. Spot on.Lamb in the lamb balti was melt in the mouth.Very enjoyable

Awful had the worst food poisoning I've ever had never going back there it was really good until it was by the bina tandoori they have also increased prices way over top

Had Caversham tandoori many times over the past few years, and it never disappoints. Our favourite curry house in Berkshire , hands down! The staff are always friendly and the food is full of flavour without being greasy.

Such yummy food! My biryani and aloo curry came nice and hot, having loads of flavour. The gent on the phone was friendly & very helpful. The best popadom sauce (mango) I’ve had! Would definitely recommend.

I dont know where to start from. I have been looking for a indian takeway for the past few months in Reading, that can make orginal indian food without compromising on quality and price. I am glad i no longer have go through the thought of thinking about wheere to order from. Brilliant service always putting their customer first and guys dont be deceived by the shop front, this place is definetly a gem in the area.

Ordered for the first time today, and I genuinely couldn’t fault the meal at all.Everything was piping hot, and tasted very authentic. Wasn’t the usual greasy Indian takeaway you’d get. Will definitely be ordering again. Thanks for the lovely meal!

Absolutely amazing takeaway. Really recommend the onion bhaji (huge crispy balls!) and the king prawn dhansak - definitely my favourite dishes. Really good friendly service too. Best Indian in Reading!

One of the best Indian take away. I've ever had with lots of flavours and the customer services it top notch. The garlic chilli chicken is amazing.
