Costa Coffee in Reading

The good thing in this place was the drinks but I don't really like the food much. Also, the seats were not clean and they were not comfy.

Food is fantastic, staff very friendly and drinks are fairly priced too

I'm tempted to say there's no such thing as a bad Costa but I guess someone will find one somewhere. I think the coffee is great and the staff always friendly (as it was today)

Quick service although there was a mis-communication between person taking the orders and the person making the drinks. No cinnamon was requested by us but staff member almost put double cinnamon on, we stopped it in the nick of time!Convenient place for a coffee as we were visiting the garage opposite.Re-visited this Costa Coffee yesterday (08/01/2022), it was very busy and the litter outside of the shop was bad. Perhaps Costa would be better to tidy up the front of the shop as it is not inviting.

Great place to work, staff are lovely but it’s costa so do not expect the coffee to be amazing!Wi-Fi is good and generally quiet.

Costa shops have got good coffee, but this one is the best in Reading. Lovely staff and the coffee is always good made.

Usual costa. Sometimes the chairs and tables aren't very clean as customers trash them and let their kids mash food into the seats. The team are friendly, even though they are chatting in their own mother tongue is it very jovial in this branch. I'd appreciate the tables being cleared a bit quicker and cleaning a bit better rather than doing it myself.

Great service every time. Free parking outside the store, hands free sanitizer on entry, socially distant queue markers on floor, outdoor and indoor seating - if sitting indoors be aware they are tracking and tracing. Currently have summer drinks menu which is has a great selection of milkshakes and iced drinks.

Avoid on a Saturday morning. Very small counter area with lots of customers packed just inside the door. Three staff were on duty, but one was focused on Deliveroo orders and the other two were struggling. Found it difficult to get them to understand a simple order and had to correct an overcharge. Little evidence while we were there that tables and seating were being cleaned between customers.

The croissant wasn't fresh as in other branches of Costa. Probably not as demanded but still fresh and flaffy one is much better, hence 2 stars. For the price of it you could have fresh one delivered every morning and not serve yesterday's ones.
