Five Guys in Reading

Great burger. More expensive than McDonald's or burger king, think more honest burger. I *think* their unique selling point is a great burger to go, although you can sit down too.. similar speed to a McDonald's too.

Five guys is a clean tidy open plan restaurant in the Oracle Reading. The food is freshly prepared so not quite fast food. The option of toppings on the burgers is vast and all included in the price. The portion of chips was huge. The food was okay but not the most exciting meal we have had in Reading.

The restaurant is way too noisy because the music is very loud. To take the order you have to repeat several times because it's so difficult to communicate with the levels of the music.The food was good and well cooked, but we kept going back to ask for some forgotten items. It was a big order as it was 9 of is, but it was a very busy, crowded day, so I do understand.Overall, it's a nice place for a well cooked burger and good fries. I'm not sure if I would want to go back, though, as the music is extremely loud and staff say they can't lower the volume. I've been to other Five Guys restaurants and the atmosphere is more relaxed.

We love five guys, tables are always clean & tidy! I've never had a bad burger from this place, service is always on point as well. Not a bad thing to say about Five Guys.

Beware - you do not need to order extra fries! My first visit to a five guys and I did not know the burgers include fries - we ended up taking the massive bag pile home with us as it came to about two large portions on top of those we ordered!Decent fries, burger was alright but I wouldn't say the meal we had (double cheeseburger plus fries & double bacon cheeseburger + large fries and two drinks) was worth the £35 we paid for it. Makes me miss Eds and Nelsons.

Quick service taking the order and then a 15 min wait for food ready to be collected. Not wonderfully clean tables, but not rank. Burgers...Great. chips, recently are not so great. Reasonably expensive, for a burger takeaway.

This is an above average burger, with plenty of fries. Not the best burger I had but it is quite nice. Very good value for money.

Awesome burger and fries. Simple but done so well. Price is fairly high but why would you expect McDonald's prices when you get a five guys burger? Only need to order half the fries you would normally. Meat is well cooked (cooked properly) and the food quality is very high. Will be going back for a treat soon.

Great burgers, fries and shakes. The shakes are a little small for the price whereas the portion sizes for the fries are definitely on the generous side
