Golden Bridge in Reading

Usually really good, but tonight was disappointing... Shredded duck wasn't shredded... Beef was tough, showmein was salty and dinner arrived late and cold.

Food isnt that bad for what it is, the problem is the bloke on the phone. Just so rude for literally no reason. Basic manners to say hello and good bye. Unfortunately inexcusable.

Used to be very good. Clear new chef or management as the duck was so dry, not roasted properly at all and had to throw in the bin. As ever with Chinese take outs there is no justice, no offer of replacement or refund despite being loyal customers for 7 years. Will not be coming back.

I have never ordered from before. my experience was perfect our order arrived on time and i will be coming back to try something else in the near future

After waiting an hour and a half for my order, two dishes arrived bland, one of them had spilled and everything was drenched in oil. I called them three times for my order and they basically lied to me. Very disappointed and obviously it is the last time I get food from this place

Incorrect order received. Mix meat in satay sauce no taste. At least plain chow main was good. 2 stars

I would give this place a 0 star if it was possible. Possibly the worst place I have ordered food from. The food was disgustingly greasy and tasteless - the only thing I could taste was salt. To make matter worse, the guy over the phone was very rude and impolite. When I shared some of my experience from the other Chinese dishes, he started saying 'it's not my business' and put the phone down. Avoid this place if you can, not worthwhile.

Ordered here at the beginning of lock down, I normally go to Go Sing in Caversham but this was closed. Firstly, the rudest person on the end of the phone ever which should of been enough to not order but I was at work and hungry 😂, food arrived and both me and my colleague had sweet and sour chicken balls, chicken satay main and egg fried rice. All tasteless, greasy and well below par more onions in the satay then chicken and a watery under flavoured sauce.

The service is awful! I ordered a Chicken Chow Mein with no veg and no onions. When delivered it was wrong. I called them about it and was willing to collect the dish and return the old and they said they cannot do that, and cannot give a refund for that dish. This meant that one of us did not have a meal. I went down there they refunded my dish but told me they will no longer take orders for my address. Sorry it was not my mistake!

Good food and reasonable price. Have tried it multiple times now and never been disappointed. I usually walk in or order and collect so not sure about delivery service, but they usually prepare my order on time.
