An average wait time, well above average food and service. Our server, Dion, was excellent, polite and friendly. I also appreciated the timings she chose to attend to us, not too long or short. Just adds to the service!Now... The food... Well! They don't "scrimp" out on anything. The chips were consistently crunchy, with lovely seasonings. I went for the "Tribute" burger, I can't say much more than I Highly recommend.Generally a brilliant experience, just wish there was one closer to home :(

I visited Saturday night with a friend for a catch up. The burgers and chips were stunning but the onion rings were so greasy they left a pool of oil and had to be left (the photo shows the oil under just one onion ring). The girl who greeted us was lovely but we soon realised nearly all the girls with long hair had their hair down serving food and on the bar. The male server also touched his hair more than a 14 year old boy touches himself which is quite off-putting to know he then served our food (with an attitude I might add). As we were finishing our meal, my friend was asked 3 times in the space of however long it took me to go to the bathroom, whether we had finished or not. At the end of the meal we asked for the bill and 20 minutes later and trying to get his attention, we did not receive it. We got up to talk to a nearby table and the lad sooner went to clean it. When telling him that we had been waiting so long he got it for us but there was no apology.

The customer service was absolutely fantastic. I got the impression that the members of staff were clearly enthusiastic, kind and took pride in what they do. The atmosphere was an exceptionally friendly and welcoming one.1. The blonde woman who took the initial food and drink orders was really nice.2. A lovely young man with brown hair and tattoos asked about the food. He was really enthusiastic and really knew a lot about Honest Burgers.3. There was a place on the wall which was full of photographs of people whom I presumed to be customers (who looked happy).4. The man who took away the plates was absolutely lovely. I was impressed with the high levels of attentiveness and just the interest that he showcased. The place also has a good and delicious vegetarian menu.I recommend the Tribute Burger. It is a burger with American cheese, bacon and pickles. I also suggest that one tries the gravy. The only thing that could have been better (this is just a personal preference) is that I felt that the music was slightly too loud.***I attended this place again in January 2022. The members of staff were just so enthusiastic. The place was not too crowded and it was very clean. The orders were prepared extremely quickly. If people like onion rings, then this is the ideal place to get them as they are huge!***Many thanks Chefs and members of staff.

Came here for my daughters 21st birthday meal and was not disappointed. The food was delicious and the staff were so friendly! Special thanks to Daisy who looked after us so well. Not one bad thing to say about this experience and will be going again 😊

Really love Honest Burgers they have a quality selection of standard burgers, plant based burgers and work with local producers as much as possible! They have a good craft beer selection and work with Siren Brewing in Reading which is one of my favourite brewery's and the Siren Soundwave is a fantastic IPAThey also have specials each month which are absolutely worth a try some interesting combinations like the Market Burger which had pickled apple slaw which is really nice! This time I tried The Nigerian which had plantain crisps and a zingy Nigerian sauce! Very tasty! The onion rings are also fantastic. Crispy, bubbly batter which I think they put cumin seeds in which is a great combination! The Rosemary salted chips are also fantastic! The staff are very friendly and efficient and are genuinely helpful and like a little chat!Overall Honest Burger does a great job of delivering excellent burgers, interesting menu choices and a great atmosphere!

I've only had takeaway from this place (as I found it during lockdown) but that's been the best burger takeaway I've ever had. It arrives super hot, bun doesn't get soggy, chips are hot and crispy, I don't know how they do it but they've nailed it. Looking forward to playing a visit now that they've opened as well 🙌🏼Update: been to the actual place and it was great! Had the monthly special with chips and buffalo wings and all were delicious

Honestly yum place to eatWe always say "a burger is only as good as the bun that carries it". Well the honest burger delivered, and so did that bun. We had the Market burger and chilli burger- both packed with flavour, patty cooked to perfection and those chips, the perfect company. Food came out quickly and did not lack on quality. We also had the onion rings-YUM and ofcourse the chicken wings-YUM.Don't think we've ever been to burger joint with staff so attentive. Go Team!

Loved this place, great interior design and amazing locally sourced burger was on the specials menu. The cheese was amazing and from a local cheesemakers, @villagemaidcheese. The waiting staff were so friendly, the only reason I haven’t given it 5* is because we’ve been to the Cambridge one and we’re disappointed to find milkshakes are off the menu 😞 we specifically chose it as it did both the burgers and milkshakes- other than that though it was amazing. I’d recommend removing the photos of milkshakes on here if they’re no longer on the menu.

I came here before and it was great! Loved the staff, the service, the food, the chips are to die for!! First time I had the chilli burger and yesterday I had the Thai special in collaboration with another restaurant and it was good, the fries were a bit too oily and greasy and the burger took a bit to arrive but they had someone new in the kitchen so maybe that's why. Nonetheless I would recommend this place for a very big portion of good burger and fries!
