INDIAN PARADISE in Reading

The food here is very tasty and it's a great atmosphere in the restaurant which gives you a great experience of vegetarian Indian cuisine. I think the only negatives are that the food comes in stages even if ordered together and one of the dishes took around an hour. I would recommend the food though as it was lovely.

This restaurant is at the corner of the town center towards Oxford street, one can see board from long distance though. Even from outside broad street mall.First of all about the food and taste, its awesome. Instead of going for regular food which will be delicious anyway, I ordered Chhole Bhature and Veg Biryani, Both were awesome! Both were for £6 each but taste wise its good. Try once even if you are low on budget.Ambience is also as good. One cant expect luxurious sitting places here but overall good.I will visit once again to taste another dishes they offer!Bon appétit !!!Cheers to life!!!

Authentic collection of southern India’s breakfast brings nostalgia. Inspite of huge crowds on a Sunday morning, we were looked after very well. Service was with a smile and the management and staff took great care and we were well fed. We are from Oadby, Leicester. Will definitely visit again.

I am personally not a big fan of North Indian version of Dosas. I like my chutneys tempered with mustard and curry leaves and my sambar not sweet. But this might please wider audience from the Northern region of India.

Me and my family had wonderful dosa and idly. Really yummy lassi as well to accompany the meal. Would definitely recommend and hope to return again soon.

It was a lovely experience. I was surprised how big a meal I received. The price very good and it has good interior design as well. Definitely, I highly recommend my friend to come over

Absolutely incredible, if I could give it 6 stars I would. Lots of variety of authentic dishes. I had the Veg Manchurian Dosa and the depth of flavour was the best I’ve ever tasted. Very inexpensive for the large portion size too. Will definitely go back and highly recommend

Rava masala dosa £5.99- This dosa was so nice and crispy. The sambar and all the various chutneys served with this had different tastes and flavours which all banged. This dosa came with potato masala inside it and boyyyy it was amazing! I’ve had dosa once before which was ayt so this definitely takes first spot.Bombay thali £7.99- This has chana gravy, daal, paneer butter masala, paneer 65, biryani, paratha, popadum and halwa- This is a good way to enjoy everything in one big thaali. The paneer butter masala with the paratha was very delicious. I wished the paneer 65 pieces were bigger though as they were tinyyyyy. The chana gravy and daal were flavoursome and not bland at all!Choley baturay £4.99- These baturay were extremely fresh and delicious! They were piping hot and very fluffy, without being overly greasy. The chana curry was also very yummy and flavoursome.Hakka noodles £6.75- This is an Indian street food snack which had basic flavours. It was fairly bland in my opinion so I didn’t enjoy this very much.Overall, I really enjoyed my visit here. It is always nice to try different cuisines and as a food blogger, it almost becomes imperative to, but it’s always enjoyable.Halal status: No meat served here. Strictly vegetarian menu, but alcohol is served.Service: 4/5- they were very busy so they took ages to bring the bill out, but everyone was otherwise lovely.
