Lots of tasty food, and excellent service. Recommend the Mixed Meze if you're unsure of what you like (or too many good options) so you can taste a bit of everything.Though walk-ins are welcome, its a fairly intimate place so best to book ahead to secure a table.

After I had done my research to find an authentic Greek restaurant with lovely Greek food and live Greek music in Reading I came across Spitiko.As a group of us were having a reunion after working in Greece ( Zakynthos) in the 1990’s and coming from all across the Uk we chose Reading as the central point.From the first email Ketty was warm, friendly and efficient.We had the most wonderful night! The live music was brilliant. The food and wine was fantastic.The staff and service excellent.Myself and all my group would most definitely recommend this restaurant and we are hoping to arrange another get together at Spitiko probably next year.

We had a great evening with good service and food and a live band. Only one criticism the band was at 'large venue' volume, which made conversation very difficult.

Traditional staple dishes, flavours spot on, everything made fresh, home made desserts, especialty wine selection... What is not to like?

Highly recommend! We had a dinner reservation for a birthday and they turned it into a party. The food was fresh and authentic in generous portions. Great service and a lovely Greek experience in Caversham.

All I can say was amazing we lived in Cyprus for 13 years and now back in England and this restaurant made us feel we were back there again would like to thank them so much xx

While in the area on business and having holidays to Greece cancelled multiple times, it was nice to see this restaurant. Later that evening I popped in with a work collegue and had a Halloumi cheese starter with salad and pitta, followed by a mixed Pork Slouvaki and Cypriot Sheftalia for main which also came with a Greek Salad and flavoursome aromatic rice. What could I say.... Absolutely awsome in flavour, texture and quantity. All washed down with ΑΛΦΑ beer

Delicious food arrived promptly. Another excellent meal from this friendly local restaurant . We always enjoy eating there, and have been delighted with the take out service during lockdowns.
