Marmaris Kebeb in Reading

Asked for a chicken shish kebab without jalapeños and with garlic sauce. Staff carefully double checked a few times to make sure it was right and I got exactly what I asked for. Small kebab was a good size and still with plenty of chicken. Chicken was tasty. Would definitely return!

States on website it closes at 1am yet I was turned away at 12:45, went out of my way to come here passing other restaurants to be told " no go away we closed" thanks a lot going to bed hungry after work won't waste my time again

Terrible service called to make a order 3 people struggled to even take my number then told me they don’t take card so that’s clearly something going on off the books avoiding taxes can’t think of any other reason for not accepting card after covid and the day and age we are in

AVOID. DISHONEST.Server strangely fiddled arranging the coins for my change before handing it to me in a stack, now I know why, 200 Forint coin passed to me instead of a £2 coin!I didn't realise what was happening at the time, thought he was just double checking the change, but NO that was deliberate. Deliberately stacked between other coins, it was only when I fanned them out on table at home that I saw the £2 was actually a 200 Forint (similar size and colours)OK, people will say I should check my change, yep, I would sure advise anyone going here to do so. AVOID they are dishonest.Contact me if you wish to make good guys.

Good kebabs but was cold inside when eating in, likely due to the Baltic weather outside!

Wouldn't let me add 1 or 2 pounds of donor meat to an extra large lamb sheesh.(therefore £14.50 in total)They abruptly told me it had to be 3 pounds when I asked for 2 pounds of donor meat (never had this problem anywhere else).Kebab was just average. They get a star for the homemade chili and garlic sauce There is a gap in market for a real high quality Turkish restaurant in Caversham with easy parking - this definately isn't it.

nice place for a good quality healthy kebab. bit pricey for kebab and chips but can’t put price on quality . good service . tried today for first time after recommendation from a friend . kebab was quality meat and cooked perfectly. chips slightly crunchybut not over done just prefer mine slightly softer. overall highly recommend for a treat as slightly expensive for £9.80 for large kebab and chips otherwise would have given a 5 star

Use to be one of my favourite kebabs shops. Seems as though since lockdown has finished the quality of food is poor. I assume they're under new management.My last time ordering they got the order wrong, when I called to ask them to correct their mistake, they didn't want to do anything about it, and the store worker said he couldn't understand English well.Its a real shame as this place use to be good before. That one failure and their lack of care meant I will not be ordering from them anymore.
