Breakfast lovely, all cooked to perfection, lose a star for only having full fat milk! Can't be drinking tea with THAT in it! Spoiled my full English as had to have OJ instead!

Think they must have new owners since we used to go regularly a few years ago.The last 2 times they've overcharged us.Latte was luke warm when I went in a few months ago. This time, hoping they'd improved I found out that they had no skimmed milk, so skinny Latte was out the window and they didn't even have semi skimmed. They don't even have soya, so people who are dairy intolerant are not going to get anything there. No sweeteners either, so in a nutshell it's pretty poor.Went through what we had when paying to the guy behind the counter and he still got it wrong.I'm sorry but if you are living and working in this country you need to learn the language and understand your customers, they are your bread and butter.

Great prices great food just needs a revamp decor wise but feels like a traditional cafe for your full English or burger n chips

As far as I am concerned, a landmark of Reading. I've been coming here for several years now, the service has always remained good and the food great. Best breakfast in Reading and I highly recommend it to anyone.

One of a few places in Reading that actually offer a cooked breakfast that's genuine in taste. Although a little smaller than the normal breakfast an slightly over priced would recommend. Just make sure you read the menu as some plates are single portion without the usual extras.

I gave it 4 stars because the coffee was that good. The food was ok. Very heavy. So make sure you don't eat anything before or go for a very, very long walk after. They have a halal option which made our group very happy.

Nice easy place to eat, all day breakfast can't go wrong. Not the best quality but not bad by any means, hash brown was crispy (my main priority!). Cute booths and no nonsense place

Haven't been here since around 2004. Used to come here frequently back then. Swapped my usual Big Breakfast fry-up for a slightly healthier bacon & scrambled eggs on brown toast with Jasmine Tea. And it was Beautiful. PS: I'd eaten half of it before I decided to take a photo.

Went for an be English breakfast having just come back from the states after 3 weeks and had time to kill waiting for train . Saw three this reviews and was recommended by Street vendoor. It says looks a bit of a dive ordered a full english brekkies without the mushrooms they had run out and Tomato 🍅 cos I don't like them. No offer of any substitute do plates cake a bit bare. The fried bread was well overcooked sausage was the cheap rubbish served sometimes in chip shops. Bacon ok egg very average. Coffee was grim works not be rushing back far better quality and value in Tesco or Morrisons

Very popular (including with groups of cyclists) and on pedestrianised area, but no bicycle racks in view. Town Square with seating nearby, which is where we waited having placed our orders. Plenty of indoor seating; outside tables barely cleared in time for our cooked breakfasts, but the service was very good. Toilets fine but hot tap could scald.
