O'Neill's in Reading

This is a busy Music and Sports Bar, especially at the weekends and on big game nights!Lots of screens and tv's dotted about, usually showing two footy games on European nights.Food available all day, order at the bar, via their app on your phone or at your table, as the staff frequently come around with their ordering system, which you can also order more drinks on.Lots of seating but also a large standing area along the long bar, plus outside seating if you prefer!Good choice of lagers, they do shots and cocktails too!If you're after a quiet night out, this isn't the place.

Went for Paddy's Day was not disappointed... Through the week though mainly a sports style bar which isnt my bag. Great staff, great atmosphere on a big night!

I've been to O'Neils quite a few times and generally it's been a good experience, but not recently. Twice I have been in there and tried to watch a football match. There was one table available and only one screen showing my team and I couldn't sit there. All the other screens were showing a different game. And today I managed to watch at a table for 20 minutes. Then we had to go because the table was booked for 2pm and the Rugby was put on the TV. So then I couldn't watch at all. Don't screen a match if it's not possible to watch it and there is nowhere to sit. I'm not going to buy a drink if I can't sit at table for 20 minutes and I'm unlikely to attend O'Neills again. Very poor service.

One of the few pubs that has a great atmosphere on 6 Nations day & the table service is awesome. The staff are highly attentive & easy on the eye, as well as always providing homage to great sporting occasions, whether that be rugby, football or even the Olympics.

Amazing day watching the six nations. Always plenty of staff checking to see if we wanted any more drinks. When ordering on the app the drinks arrived at the table less than a minute after ordering. It was always going to be a busy day but Oneills got it spot on. Will definitely be back!

We went during Christmas time. The decorations were great! They really made the place look great. Inside and out. We only went for drinks, which came fast and were great. Menu and table was quite sticky. We also saw that half of the menu was not available.

Visited yesterday mid afternoon. The staff were so friendly and attentive we never had to ask for anything they were on hand for everything .the food was tasty and well presented and great value for money both food and drinks .Special thanks goes to a lovely young lady Georgia. She clearly likes her job and is so smiley and friendly she made our day and nothing was a problem for her... I will definitely be going back !

Enjoyed some drinks with friends recently. The atmosphere was relaxed and friendly. Great place if you love watching sports and having drink (or two).
