Reviews make or break restaurants, I was recommended papa g,I ordered child portions but they attempted to charge adult prices for my 5 year old twins,the pizzas were great and my 7 year old loved it,I ordered the seafood pasta and the sauce was the same as my child's pizza,my sons meatballs and my wife's bolognaise, great staff and very friendly, they must be making a fortune feeding every one the same bland sauce, potentially have the chance to be a great independent restaurant if they stop mugging customers off

Honestly the best Italian food I've had outside of Italy. A proper hidden gem. Make sure you book though!

Last night 05/03/2022 our family group of four ate at Papa Gee restaurant. The food was freshly cooked good size portions impeccable service. Will definitely be making a return visit in the near future. Would recommend making a reservation first.

Simply, the best pizza in Reading area. Great customer service from the lovely staff! They really make you feel at home. Highly recommended

Really great little restaurant with authentic Italian food, made on site. Friendly staff and allowed us to take doggy bags home when our eyes proved bigger than our bellies 😂 food arrived quickly, and was reasonably priced. Restaurant is in central a Caversham and easy to find.

This place is amazing. We went to have a pizza, in my opinion the best in Reading. It was really nice. Service was nice, they served quick. We had dessert as well, my friend said that the tiramisu wasn’t the best but it was fine. I will definitely come back to try more plates!

This is an authentic Italian (Neapolitan) restaurant/pizzeria. Cozy, lovey and family run, which makes it even more special. Way far from the fake italian food, commonly served in the most famous chains.On top of the delicious food, the staff is amazing and friendly. We had the pleasure to meet the lovely Odette, that made our dinner even more special. ♥️

Such a lovely place. The interior is cosy, the service is super friendly, and the food was incredible! We had the antipasto misto and polpette to start, with some homebaked sourdough which was warm and fluffy and gorgeous. The main was the calabresse pizza, topped with burratta. Can highly recommend!

An excellent small but pleasant restaurant in the middle of Caversham. The food is cooked to perfection and with care. Good Italian touch is present in the service with polite and knowledgeable staff.The seating are a bit cramped in a small place but who cares when the food is great!
