Pizza Hut in Reading

Very disappointed with the customer service at this place and specially the rude mannerism of the manager here. We called on Thu to book a table for seven kids for a birthdays party. We were told that they don’t take bookings for weekends and should turn up on Sat. On Sat we turned up at 12(the place opens at 11 AM) and were asked if we had booking as they are fully booked until 6 PM. We explained to the manager that we were told we couldn’t book and therefore clearly misinformed. Firstly, they should have told that they were fully booked and we could have arranged somewhere else. Secondly, the manager even didn’t had the courtesy to listen and trying to help and even denied to accept that the communication could have been better. This is an appalling customer service. Never going back again…

Never order deliveroo from this Pizza Hut because I have ordered from them about 6 times now (over the last 18 months) and they have always got it wrong. I have ordered the same pizza every time and they've always got it wrong. I have just received the pizza I ordered which was a vegan pepperoni pan and they have sent me a non vegan pepperoni stuffed crust. I imagine it better in house but save your money order from somewhere else

Very good options for pizzas in terms of buffet options, a help-yourself salad (nice variety of stuff) with every mains and pairing with ice-creams for kids. Most dessert options are with ice-creams ; could be better. There's enough room with many tables but weekends can get very busy at lunch time. And ultimately what you are here for, pizzas are very good (if a little greasy) to taste !

Eat in but had to order using the scan and order, waited and hour for the food and a totally wrong pizza arrived.The staff were very good and getting it sorted but it was another 30 minutes before the replacement arrived and everyone else had finished there food by then.It seemed to me that they kitchen was massively understaffed, as the poor guy making the pizza was flat out the whole time, due to having to make all the takeaway pizzas also.

Great pizza, great service. We walked in on a casual weekday to grab a bite with our tastecard, realized that tastecard would not work on what we purchased yet the store manager offered us a discount, kind of her that she had a good chat as well. Eventually I just realized that food along with service is what I go in a restaurant for and I was happy with my experience…

Came here this evening with two friends and their baby. We arrived at 7:30 and were sat down next to the kitchen window by the manager. I ordered my food at 7:45, while my friends ordered at 7:50 and 7:55 respectively. We were encouraged to use the mobile app via QR code due to Covid measures, no problems there.My food arrived 10 minutes later, my friend who ordered at 7:50 had their food arrive 10 minutes after that. My last friends food was taking over 30 mins, when we asked a member of staff they went to check the kitchen I.e. right next to us who said it would be 7 minutes. We waited 15 more minutes before complaining to a different staff member who went to check, who came back to inform us he was just putting the pizza into the oven now, more than 45 minutes after the initial order.Meanwhile another table behind us had complained about the wait for their food, to which the manager was called and he informed the customer that, because he had used the app and ordered separately, the order had been sent through to the kitchen on a separate ticket, which was somehow the customers fault.After we complained to the manager, he had us write down information on a piece of paper so he could process the refund as it was put through on the mobile app.Im unsure why my food took 10 minutes, and my friends food took 45 minutes to even start making it, or even unsure if we'll get our refund, but I know for sure we won't be returning to Pizza Hut Oracle.(My thin crust Cheese Pizza was soaked in grease, I had to roll it up and eat it like a hot dog!!)

First time in a pizza hut in some years. The guy running the show "Roderick" was brilliant. Great service, couldn't help enough. The pizzas were well tasty. See them again soon.👍

I got the buffet option, and all in all the food is good, but nothing mind-blowing. For a place that specialises in pizza, it does have a decent variety of toppings and crusts. However, the actual quality of the toppings (including the cheese) wasn't fantastic. This place is good for groups and the prices are reasonable. Nothing special though.

Lovely meal, with proper great value for money - as with all Pizza Hut Restaurants! Our waitress Charlie was lovely and went out of her way to make sure the meal was the best it could be, adding a few extras due to a long wait we had for our drinks to arrive 👏🏻 Food was fantastic, filling and as I said, great value for money. Would certainly recommend this branch of Pizza Hut Restaurants! 💯

I went in for there £8(+-) buffet that happens between 12-3. The restaurant were very covid strict and tidy, which was lovely. Everything is done online now. For the menu, you scan a QR code or input a webpage to see the menus and order and pay for the food. This is odd for sure, but really works.The buffet has a wide variety of sides and salads to choose from and 4 types of pan or American style pizza's (veg, margarita, pepperoni or Americano). You start off with one and when the server brings you the pizza they ask which one you want next. I'm sure they watch you as when I had my last bite, they bought in the next. This suited me fine. The server was absolutely lovely and I wish I remembered her name. I only had to call her once to order another pizza. The pizza's are small but unlimited and absolutely delicious so order as much as you want.Get a bottomless cold drink as well for about £3. I can't fault anything here at all.The server was lovely, the restaurant was clean and the food was yummy. A bonus is how affordable it all was. I definitely recommend.
