Good food and majority of staff were absolutely amazing considering a lot of the ordering is done remotely now. The only down side is the rude older manager who wasn’t wearing a name badge. I can only emphasis that I wouldn’t normally write a bad review over minor inconveniences but what I see today really put me off using this Pizza Hut store again. The manager was disrespecting a female staff member over a minor issue in the middle of the restaurant…just before she went on her break. Honestly I’d be surprised if she felt comfortable coming back to work for a manger like him! If he displays that behaviour in front of everyone I dread to think how he is behind the closed doors.Safe to say I’m appalled.

Came in for lunch this afternoon because we were on limited time and have known this restaurant to have good service times.Today, that was not the case. The restaurant had, at most, 5 tables in and 3 members of staff. 2 of those spent a good portion stood by the drinks machine chatting while the other lady did most of the work. My sister and I had to wait nearly 20 minutes for our plates to be cleared and even longer for the desserts. Which we ordered as part of a deal when we first got in.Tables were left not cleared for as long as we were waiting. Can certainly say if I was the manager on shift today I would be embarrassed with the way things have gone today.

Average experience at this Pizza Hut location I am afraid. We chose to visit for lunch owing it to be a weekday and for the fact I like to take advantage of the weekday buffet for unlimited pizza slices and pasta. Have never been to this Pizza Hut location, but it was nicely positioned at the Oracle Shopping Centre in Reading. It offered convenience and was a recognised brand that we trusted so we went to visit. We went inside and waited at the door until the manager spotted us eventually, and he 'greeted' us, but didn't seem very happy or friendly and he said 'can I help'.We said we wanted a table for two, so were seated. I have always had a problem with the booth style tables at Pizza Hut as they are quite squashed and don't provide much room for bags/coats etc. It was my own choice to remain there though, so we then looked at the menu.Knowing we wanted buffet, we were told we could use a QR code to order. We did this and then went to select a variety of fresh and hot pizza slices from the buffet table. The availability of pizza was good and so I was happy with this, the pasta wasn't the freshest or hot for that matter, but it tasted good. The salad bar was neatly stocked with some of my favourites so this proved a treat. We didn't have any napkins so I had to find some, and the toilets were mainly clean minus the soap in the mens toilet which surprised me. We actually had very little interaction with staff during our visit, and they didn't stop at our table to check how everything was. I'm not sure whether to expect this or not as it is Pizza Hut, but it would be nice. Finally, we paid our bill and then left the restaurant. The staff looked at us but nobody said thank you or a farewell greeting. To conclude the review is average, as we had little friendly interaction with staff. This restaurant is great if you wish to serve yourself through the QR code and helping yourself, but if you want that extra touch of customer service then it doesn't score that well in this area.I'd have to consider actually visiting this particular Pizza Hut restaurant again, as there are plenty of other nice restaurants in the area.

We were there with our family last night. I thoroughly loved the experience. Staff above all and the lady manager there deservers a special mention. I wish I could get her name but she made the entire experience loving. loved the service and food as always. Hope to experience the same every visit

We came here as a couple on a Saturday. We didn't make use of the great deal they had for the buffet, but it was because we are very particular with our pizzas.Nevertheless, the food was great and service was amazing. They had online ordering which made it a very swift experience.

Very good options for pizzas in terms of buffet options, a help-yourself salad (nice variety of stuff) with every mains and pairing with ice-creams for kids. Most dessert options are with ice-creams ; could be better. There's enough room with many tables but weekends can get very busy at lunch time. And ultimately what you are here for, pizzas are very good (if a little greasy) to taste !

Great pizza, great service. We walked in on a casual weekday to grab a bite with our tastecard, realized that tastecard would not work on what we purchased yet the store manager offered us a discount, kind of her that she had a good chat as well. Eventually I just realized that food along with service is what I go in a restaurant for and I was happy with my experience…

Eat in but had to order using the scan and order, waited and hour for the food and a totally wrong pizza arrived. The staff were very good and getting it sorted but it was another 30 minutes before the replacement arrived and everyone else had finished there food by then.It seemed to me that they kitchen was massively understaffed, as the poor guy making the pizza was flat out the whole time, due to having to make all the takeaway pizzas also.

Lovely meal, with proper great value for money - as with all Pizza Hut Restaurants! Our waitress Charlie was lovely and went out of her way to make sure the meal was the best it could be, adding a few extras due to a long wait we had for our drinks to arrive 👏🏻 Food was fantastic, filling and as I said, great value for money. Would certainly recommend this branch of Pizza Hut Restaurants! 💯

I went in for there ÂŁ8(+-) buffet that happens between 12-3. The restaurant were very covid strict and tidy, which was lovely. Everything is done online now. For the menu, you scan a QR code or input a webpage to see the menus and order and pay for the food. This is odd for sure, but really works. The buffet has a wide variety of sides and salads to choose from and 4 types of pan or American style pizza's (veg, margarita, pepperoni or Americano). You start off with one and when the server brings you the pizza they ask which one you want next. I'm sure they watch you as when I had my last bite, they bought in the next. This suited me fine. The server was absolutely lovely and I wish I remembered her name. I only had to call her once to order another pizza. The pizza's are small but unlimited and absolutely delicious so order as much as you want.Get a bottomless cold drink as well for about ÂŁ3. I can't fault anything here at all.The server was lovely, the restaurant was clean and the food was yummy. A bonus is how affordable it all was. I definitely recommend.
