Sea Master in Reading

I was very disappointed in our family trip to this fish and chip shop, I was sitting waiting for our food , another family entered to collect their order and as it was raining they noticed the dining seating area so went to sit down with their purchased food to be stopped by a member of staff and told they are not allowed to sit there as it costs more to sit? The family left, but I was sat there and not, anywhere could I see where it said this and menu didn't state anywhere that it costs more to eat when sitting or when I ordered was I asked in or out.I approached the lady on this when the family left and to be basically shrugged off, it was very disappointing to hear and witness this as a restaurant who advertises dining in or out all over the Internet , cannot find anywhere where it states you pay more to sit. Very disappointing

I’m posting a 3 star review because I’ve now had 3 times that I’ve ordered a drink with this place and not had the drink with the delivery but the funny thing is I’m being charged money through my bank with my order so I’m now owed £4.50 so far but apart from that the food is good but getting annoyed when I ask the delivery driver where is my drink and they say I don’t know.

Highly recommend the best fish and golden thick chips in tilehurst. Batter cooked well. Frendly and quick servings upon ordering. Very well organised.

Lunchtime visit with my partner. Beautifully cooked Cod in lovely, crisp - and evenly applied - batter. Thick, very white fish fillet accompanied by fresh, perfectly cooked chips. Not our first visit and certainly won't be our last. Not the cheapest, but certainly one of the best value fish and chip shops with eat-in facilities I've experienced.. and believe me, when I say I've experienced a fair number in all parts of the country in my 64 years. Highly recommended!

I have tried a few fish and chips places around reading. Hands down this is the best. Light crispy batter, chips were perfectly cooked and fish tasted great. We dined in and the woman serving us was really friendly
