The Gorge Cafe in Reading

No time to play with my food in this cafe! It was impeccable, I ate it instantly. Had a vegetarian breakfast and it was cooked to perfection! The cafe was clean, the staff were lovely and there is parking dedicated to customers. Very happy.

Boom! The biggest best cooked breakfast I have had for a long time, we stayed at a local hotel who were charging £9.50 for a small breakfast and a further £6 for tea and coffee!!! So we gorged ourselves at the Gorge!

I visited on a busy Sunday morning. The service was fast. Overall I rate the breakfast quality 9/10. I'll be back again on Sunday.

Food was delicious and very well priced, staff are very friendly and happy to help and adapt dishes, overall lovely experience

Nice cooks but come on for the price you charge, the ingredients are the absolute cheapest available you literally could not buy cheaper, I have no idea where the positive reviews come from of being the best breakfast in town.even the tomato is from a tin and tea is not made individually but from a common pot which is bitter and not strong. Waste of a tenner

No frills, greasy-spoon cafe, serving great value breakfast. I can comment on their lunch menus, but their breakfasts are just the thing to start the day with. The food in great, the decor is an acquired tasteDon't go here if you're on a diet 😀

One of the more delicious "Greasy Spoons" I've been to! Very tasty food, lovely people, and delightful building in a great location!

The cafe was very busy and we had to queue up for a bit but the tasty full English breakfast was worth to wait for. Would definitely return. 👏

Brilliant service with covid 19 in practice oh yeah food was brill also sorry you had to try and educate the dum about wearing face mask at the till but perfectly executed
