The Jolly Anglers in Reading

A lovely waterside pub that has recently been done up. In addition to the main pub there is a pool and second bar in the raised garden.

Great summer pub with an amazing garden and publican. Recently renovated inside and is now a lot better for it.

It will be very nice pub when they have finished all there work

Absolutely fantastic pub, what they have done in the beer garden is out of this world.I've only been in the area for 1 week & in that time with a few visits it already feels like my local. All the staff are friendly and hardworking. I love it.Shame the rating only goes up to 5 as it deserves a lot more than that.

Lovely people with an amazing riverside seating. We had a nice walk along the river Kennet The landlord and landlady were very welcoming and we had a great time!

Very friendly staff, nice atmosphere, not too expensive either. First pub in Reading with a pint of landlord! Quality stuff. I'll deffo be popping in again.

What an amazing pub. The pool area is unbelievable, I felt like I was abroad. The manager was amazing, really looked after us and gave us a show round and even recommended us drinks. We had a strawberry daiquiri and it was the best one I have had! The service was incredible and the food was delicious! Cannot wait to visit again

The staff are amazing, no faff no hassle they’re very friendly and welcoming. The restrictions on the sound of our DJ set were so minimal it was amazing. Great vibes and always asking if we need drinks so amazing. Very much recommend having events here!

First time to visit the local pub after covid... Nice place but... It was amazing even if the beer selection wasn't super and the food wasn't amazing! The feeling was amazing! I will come back soon (tomorrow)

What a turn around the new owners have done for this place. So friendly and helpful and a nice spot for a cold beer on a hot day by the river. It used to be a pub I walked past. Now I can't walk past without going in!
