Toastie £5 - sour dough breat with ham hock and cheese filling. Absolutely divine.

·

Lovely . Nice cake and coffee and good company

·

Good selection of cafe food, fast service and reliable

Not sure how anyone thinks the coffee is great. It comes out of a machine, a nespresso would have more taste. The cakes are very average as well, they look nice but have very little taste. The decor inside isn’t the best either, it’s more like a motorway cafe. John Lewis really need to up their game

To be honest, for what is on offer, it's just not worth opening. Once they pay the 6 staff, not sure it financially viable either. It's either safe or not during Covid 19, so why cut the menu back to the extreme backbones !!!

·

Convenient, good value, nice coffee and cakes. Totally free too with My John Lewis Rewards. That's twice now within a month!!!! I'd love to display my artwork on the wall...

·

Great coffee, food and cake selection. Good value too... I would love to hang a few of my fine art prints...

Highly recommend. Best place to have a coffee and a snack on Reading Broad St. A great selection of Cakes,Sandwiches, Salads and meals. Has Wifi. Spacious, family friendly but very noisy at peak times.

Cafe does nothing to give a good customer experience, food presentation poor, used to have freshly prepared sandwiches and lovely displays now everything prepackaged and self service. Water not hot enough for decent cup of tea, trays all stained and look like they had better days. Time for another revamp to bring it up-to-date and more appealing for a nice lunch or afternoon tea out whilst shopping rather than a canteen experience.

Pleasant surroundings and very helpful staff but the coffee has gone downhill since they switched to self-service machines a few months back. My coffee today was really weak - the checkout lady thought it was tea - but when I queried it I was told that was how it came. It was pretty awful. Good cakes though and lunches are very good. Try the soup.
