The Rose & Thistle in Reading

I had a very nice evening, the food wasn't to my liking to the way I thought but the service was awesome at the bar and drinks was to my liking as well as those working there was very friendly.

Recently it has been standard Green King offerings only on the hand pumps. They are not bad but more variety please. Food has also dropped from previous high standard and attention to detail is not what it was.

Friendly little Pub with pleasant staff, very reasonable prices, good food and clean tables, menus, etc. Well done!

Very nice place to go for drink on its own or go for something to eat here. Very nice interior. Good size back Garden. Friendly staff. Just off Oxford Road as you head to Reading town. Place for groups family friends or on your own.

Pretty good mate. Good food and I like the atmosphere due to the people there being quiet and if they are loud they get shouted at to "fack off" pretty good in general. No noise. No complaints. No people swearing. No people being no headsime the good ole wngilsh boys we are eh lads. Now who's up for a good day of clubbing lads llets goo but let's go here first okay

Warm and friendly staff, always happy to help and very accommodating. Great food and enjoyable outdoor area, family and dog friendly. A true rareity these days within a pub environment!

A lovely backstreet local pub! Excellent food and a good range of beers and spirits. Front and rear beer garden as well :) Good quiz on a Thursday night. Well worth a visit

Lovely locals pub. Very friendly publicans and staff. My score reflects the beer choice is limited, I hate Greene King beers. There's always Guinness.

Nice place with big seating area. Food quality is good, however the portion size seems slightly less in comparison to other pubs in town. Friendly and helpful staff. Great place to enjoy the football matches.
